Apriyavachanadaridraih priyavachanaadhyaih svadaaraparitushtaih. Paraparivaaranivruttaih kvachikvachinmanditaa vasudhaa.
Apriya = unkind, harsh.
Vachan = speaking.
Daridraih = poor.
Priyavachanaadhyaih = Priya + vachana + aadhyaih.
Priya = favourable.
Aadhyaih = rich.
Sva = one's own.
Daar = wife.
Paritushtaih = completely satisfied.
Para = others.
Parivaar = dependents, followers.
Nivruttaih = indifferent.
Kvachikvachinmanditaa = kvachit + kvachit + manditaa.
kvachit = somewhere.
Manditaa = adorned,
Vasudha = the Earth.
i.e. Persons who are not adept (poor) at using harsh words while speaking to others but at the same time very profuse (rich) while speaking favorably are always satisfied with their wives and remain indifferent towards the personal family matters of others. They adorn this Earth rarely at some places.
Noble person are always known for their self-less and generous act. Highlighting the other personal qualities, the author of these lines mention such person are very rare in the society.
