Now one may ask what. Exactly do we mean by turning the house of God into a den of theives instead of a houses of prayers? God servant used God word to elaborate and made us to come to a full understanding of this particular question, we have turned the house of God into a den by thieves through our action which does not speak of God.
In the world we are in now, people are not longer after pursing the things of God in the house of God rather they are seen as people who are eager of what they stand to gain by working in the house of God.
People now wants to get paid so they can do the works of God. Let's take for instance an instrumentalist who God has gifted now charge the church of God before they can play to the glory of God. People in the house of God do not have the fear of God in them again. God word said freely we receive and freely shall we give ,how then should we be seen as people who charge and get paid before we can sacrifice to God who made us whom we are .
People has turn the house of God into den of thieves by giving false prophecy just to earn money. Forgetting that Gods word made us to understand that at the last day everyone shall stand before the kings of kings to give account of every untruthful words that comes out from our mouth.
People now uses the church of God as a means of collecting money as we have these days , everywhere is filled with ministry of this or that but In the word of God ,God said that upon this rock shall I build my church and the gate of hell shall not prevail.
People who are called unto God do not have the fear of God again that is why we have turned the house of God into den of thieves and Marchsndise rather than making the house of God a place of prayer. Prayer is the oxygen of every christian, we pray unto God for deliverance, for purification and for our daily bread.
