Hello everyone and welcome to hive naija weekly activities,my name is @quin.lizzy and today I will be writing about the topic"just talented".
Growing up,I so much love to braid to the extend that I will go out with my friends to go braid grass(stubborn grass).Since I don't have anyone who would allow me plait their hair.
My mother buys me dolls, which I would make sure she attach attachments so that I will be able to braid on it,even when it's not available I will use bottle and put attachments(wick)cover it with stone and braid it.
I wasn't the only one doing this but I really loved the act of braiding,I continued till I would beg my mother to allow me braid her hair.Gradually,I started to make different types of hair styles, not just the normal all back I use to.
Mothers in my area, will come over so that I make their hair for them.My mother also knows how to braid, she's indeed skilled and gifted but as time goes on the prefer me to make their hair.I started to do more complex hair styles with attachments, brazile wool, thread and so on.
This talent has really gone a long way, even though I didn't learn how to,it's a skill that am very proud to have and grateful that I could naturally acquire it.To tell you all how good I am in what I do,a saloon owner in school left her saloon for me for two days and I properly managed it,from washing hair to hair drying and braiding.
It was really a nice experience and I was happy I could use my skill,my roommates and friends don't need to go out or be stressed about making their hair.I make their hair for them comfortable at home and it has gone a long way to reducing stress and expenses.
At times am being paid for my services and I could use my service to create a beneficial relationship within my friends.
Indeed,I did not involve myself in any formal learning but I am skilled,I will wish to enroll myself formally so that I could be able to dress hair cause different styles are been invented and with my talent am very much sure that I will move forward. All the hairs made by me.
