Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting week in the hive Ghana community weekly prompt,I am @quin.lizzy and today I will be writing about the topic"not just strangers but helpers".
I will be writing about an incident that happened to me after I was done with that my exams.Indeed that semester was very hectic with the stress as a student and also the the financial issues its something I really can't explain.
Immediately after my exams I decided to go home cause I was so tired and fed up,after my exam by 2,I set for home.I had already arranged my stuff and luggages and immediately I finished I came home,packed my things and went to the garage.
On reaching there I was told that the transportation fare was more than the usual.With my clothes and some unprocessed food my aunt gave me to take home for my mother, I needed to pay for it and also for the passenger sit,I was confused because it wasn't what I use to know and also it was already evening.I was only with the transportation fare which was supposed to be three thousand,so I was with four thousand five hundred I could remember.
Just an extra so that I can take bike when I arrive.I was pleading with the man but his mind was already made up and he wanted me to pay five thousand,he said if I wasn't paying I should look for another car.
I was short of words,then suddenly a man who was standing by pleaded with him to reduce the price since I was a student and he should be more considerate.He decided to reduce the price to four thousand naira,I gladly gave him and thank the man who helped me.
We didn't know each other and I would refer to him as a stranger but he was more of a helper,if he hadn't spoke to the driver I would have wasted more time in the garage and maybe need more money to complete my transportation. But he made things easier and he really helped cause I was really in need at that moment.
He was indeed kind and did not just over look the situation,I will forever remember that incident and his show of kindness,this kind of people who care and show kindness are indeed rare to find in this our world.
