Hello all Bloggers
Hi guys. How are you all, I hope all you are well.
Today I have made a Frock for my niece.
In the previous post I was made a Handmade Flower Keychain.
I am very happy to see that you all like my posts very much and gave me good feedback.
Let's see how to cut:
First of all, I will tell you the cutting method, how I cut this frock to sew it.
I have used two types of fabric for this frock, one is plain fabric and the other is with small prints.
I cut out a plain piece of fabric to make the top of the frock.
I shaped the neckline and sleeves with the help of scissors.
After that, I cut the printed fabric to make the bottom part of the frock.
I cut this fabric diagonally so that its pleats could fall, as you can see in the pictures above that I have completed the cutting step.
Let's sew it now.
So now it was my turn to sew it.
I first sewed both the shoulders of the frock with the help of a sewing machine.
And to make the back side of the neck, I placed a small piece of fabric on the bottom side of the cut fabric and sewed it.
After attaching the small piece of fabric, I cut it in the middle and folded the extra fabric outwards and stitched it as you can see in the pictures above how I shaped the neck.
After making the back side of the neck, I have now used a little bit printed fabric to make the front side of the neck so that it looks more attractive.
Just like I made the front neck, I also sewed both the sleeves in the same way using printed fabric and folded it outwards so that it could be seen. Now the stitching of the neck and sleeves was completed here.
After completing the top of the frock, I sewed the bottom of the frock together and then stitched the edges of the bottom of the frock.
And now lastly I added a button at the back of the neck and a hook to close it, so here my frock is completely sewn.
Final Look:
Now let's see the final picture where I put it on my niece.
I hope you like my post, I look forward to your feedback. Thank you very much for viewing my Previous posts and giving good feedback.
Until next post, lots of love, prayers and Good Byee..
