A dull, rainy November is a time to miss sunny summer days, a time to delve into old archives, a time to look back — and process the stuff during the long evenings ;) This summer I escaped the city to my summer spot just a few times, but brought back a lot of nice macro stuff, including flowers, fungi and insects. In this post I share my June encounters.

An ant carrying his prey. I think I spent 20 mins at this spot (cause it was well-lit) - feeding myself to mosquitos, killing mosquitos in large amounts, and vice versa feeding the ants with said mosquitos corpses - which gave me an option to shoot ants carrying more and more nutritious protein stuff. 😂

A new born froggie.

A cocktail in lime-esque tones.

The kingdom of lichens and fungi.

Little snail teethering on the edge.

Moss and lichen colonies on on old appletree trunk.

Someone's makeshift salivary houses. Some larvae made it, I bet.

I often fail taking dragonfly's captures. Dont know why. Bad luck or?.. anyway - have almost zero good captures, a small amount of mediocre ones and tonns of a stuff for trash-bin.

This wasp was too quirky and did not want to spend even second on same spot -- all of the 20 captures I did, turned blurry. Pretty sadly! Dont know correct iD of anything else who it was.
