To celebrate the last day of summer, I decided to go to my favourit Aurora cinema theatre (the 'Ghost in the Shell' remastered 4-k version entered our theateres - thats a platinum piece of classic from 1995 which ofc I could not miss). The piano you see below I found exactly there, in the inner yard of said theatre.
The weather did not kissed me at all, the sky was cloudy and grey all the time, hinting some heavy rain is inevitable - and it happened exactly so by the end of my walk. But I did not surrended; more to say - I walked without an umbrella. It is a gesture of denial maybe, or act of belief of some sorts... it was proven many times: when you go out equipped with an umbrella - the rain will definitely wet you from above. But if you leave said umbrella at home - on the contrary, there may not be any rain at all. This is an empirical fact, that have been proven many times... feel free to come up with your own explanations of it! 😎
One way or another, today's light and mood - farewell to summer - did not contribute to the riot of colors in the photographs. I had a black and white mood, as you can see in the photographs, and several interesting meetings that ended with memorable photographs. Today I share 15 photos with you.
Look - I managed to stumble upon the unlocked piano! Imagine: a piano right on a streets, free to play! (Well, I played some took the chance and did some gammas xD but had more fun making several captures of it).
Some arts and crafts.
Street artist (works in the "caricature" genre).
Pleasure boats at Neva-river luring in the passengers.
The river is usually full of boats (filled with tourist passengers) - but sometimes it seems to me there are much more boats than those who want to rent them, speaking in the language of economics - supply greatly exceeds demand; however, this does not lower the price tag for said service... looks like as a violation of economic laws to me, lol.
Do you think its a hawk? Nope! Just a fat seagull.
Looks like almost as Christmas Tree.... sparrows as decorations.
Kid in the crowd, hugging her teddy-bear. Always touchy!
At the Central railway station.
Artists of animation genre - they are always on their duty at the Palace square.
The 'Swan's channel' near Hermitage embankment - a spot beloved by many photographers. (I chose a less common angle of it today).
Open air art sale.
A flower-seller woman taking a cigarette break. An eye contact took place, but I made no doubles - simply did not leave her a second to claim the 'no photos' comment. Let me round up my blog here. Thanks for walking with me, see you next time!
