Little Feet, Warm Treats||Crochet for a Newborn"

Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing great and enjoying mental health. I have been getting many crochet orders nowadays. It's obviously a blessing. This order is given by my class representative. We were just sitting and talking and my friends brought up my crochet work because I was having a keychain attached to my bag. So he got curious and asked me about things like how much time it takes, how to learn and how it feels like. So I answered his questions because his curiosity was something. And he then told me that he want to order two pairs of socks. So I said okay when do you want them and he told me before summer vocations. So this weekend I was free and decided that I should crochet a pair.

He did not told me anything about the color or gender or anything like style etc so I had free will. I decided that i will make a pair of socks and a pair of shoes. I started with the socks because they were easy. I used the half white color because as the gender was not confirmed I used neutral colors. I googled the neutral colors and learnt alot about them. For the socks I did not followed a single pattern I used multiple patterns. And merged them.

This was very tiny and I made it in no time. Except the fact that after making one I took the break for a whole afternoon. Because till now I've learnt that the things made with patience always turn out best. I have realized that crochet takes alot of your time and things turns good but the profit or the earning you make from this are not compatible for the efforts and time you put into it. But I think that can't be helped because you can't charge very much because you have to consider the customer also. I think I am very new to this business so things are difficult to figure out. But I hope soo I will learn how to price my crochet things and how to engage my time and everything. But for now I am truly struggling. Anyways I used dc for this project. And the socks looked very plain to me so I decided to add fancy border at the end. I changed the color in two rows to pinkish or yellowish.

And for the border I first tried to make the reverse single crochet in the color grey. But neither the color nor the stitches were complimenting the whole look and also the ends felt very hard so I thought how will someone put in on the newborn. It will definitely hurt and not useful for them. So I opened it and decided to make front post dc and back post dc. I did it for three rows and it was giving very clean, beautiful yet comfortable look. I was satisfied. I did it the both socks and they were complete. They were very tiny and cute. I couldn't help myself adoring them again and again. I did not wait for both pairs to complete and share with you all. So I took the pictures of socks and I am sharing with you'll. Here are some final pictures.
