English Version - Click to DisplayThis is basically the most important moment of the season for Red Bull and Verstappen, Singapore is a GP he's never won, it's always been possibly the most difficult circuit for him during all these years with Red Bull and now that he still has a shot at the championship; mathematically possible but very little, well more than ever that miracle is needed, that victory nobody expects but that every Verstappen fan wants to see, it's like almost Alonso's 33, because let's be honest McLaren has dominated practically everything, Oscar has a pretty comfortable lead even after the disaster he had in Baku where he crashed twice in the same weekend, which was total madness, the problem with Singapore is that the track is fucking difficult for the drivers, 23 corners, two hours of racing under humidity that cooks you alive inside the cockpit, temperatures that reach 60 degrees Celsius inside the car, which is brutal, George Russell has talked multiple times about how he ends up practically dehydrated after this race, this year the FIA finally declared this as an official heat hazard, which means the drivers have the option to use a cooling vest, some drivers like Lewis still aren't sure if they're going to use it, because they say it works well the first hour but then the water heats up, you end up feeling worse than if you didn't use it from the start, the track has also been resurfaced in several sections from turn two to three, from six to seven, from nine to eleven, other parts too which could help Red Bull, because those bumps were a giant problem for them last year, Verstappen never could find the right balance of the car on this track, he finished second last year but Lando took more than 20 seconds advantage on him, which was a humiliation but from what I've seen from Lando, hopefully for his sake he doesn't arrive all cocky thinking he's going to repeat.

English Version - Click to DisplayNow Red Bull with the new floor they brought in Monza, which worked so well in Baku, the question is if that improvement is going to translate to a high downforce track like Singapore, or if they're going to suffer again like in Hungary, where they were a complete disaster, McLaren obviously arrives as the favorite, because the car has been a beast in these conditions, they won in Monaco, they won in Hungary, beyond the floor upgrade there's talk that the key is that they no longer depend 100% on the simulator data but on Verstappen's input regarding how the car feels and the setup. Lando dominated Singapore last year, Oscar despite the bad weekend in Baku still leads the championship by 25 points over Lando, 69 over Max, which is a big difference but not impossible to overcome, if things get crazy in the last races, the thing with Oscar is that he needs to recover his confidence, after those two hits, on Saturday in Quali he overshot his braking and went into the wall, on Sunday at the start he did a jump start, then trying to recover positions he went into the wall again at turn five, which ended his race but Oscar is a very cold guy, very calm and it's possible he arrives in Singapore as if nothing had happened and shows the level of maturity he has which wouldn't surprise me at all and he becomes the danger that he is. Lando on the other hand comes with pressure, because people on social media have been criticizing him for his comments about how winning the championship isn't his main goal at the moment, which sounded very weird coming from someone who is second in the championship, has a car capable of winning races, those comments were pretty controversial, they're not expected from a driver who supposedly is fighting for the title, but well that's Lando, sometimes he says things he shouldn't and gets himself in trouble.

English Version - Click to DisplayFerrari arrives in Singapore with expectations, but honestly I don't think they have the pace to fight for pole position or even for the podium, the car has been very mediocre this season, they don't have a clear strength in anything, before they were the best in high downforce zones but this year that was completely lost, in Baku which is a track with many 90 degree corners, traction zones Ferrari didn't have the ability to keep up the pace, Singapore has similar characteristics so I don't see how they're going to magically improve here, Charles is always good on street circuits but there are so many rumors that he wants to leave Ferrari finally that I don't know what mental state he might arrive in, Lewis honestly let's not even talk about it because he's a zero on the left this season only with a matrix error when he won the Sprint in China, the car simply isn't there this year, the brakes have also been a giant problem for them, on a track where you brake constantly that's going to be a huge headache, plus Lewis comes from a very difficult week, because he lost Rosco his dog who was practically part of the family, Lewis said he wants a good result this weekend, but more than anything he wants to get back in the car, focus on the work, because it's been a very frustrating season for him, without podiums, without results that reflect his talent, it would be incredible to see him win here in honor of Rosco, it would be a very emotional moment, but realistically Ferrari doesn't have the pace.

English Version - Click to DisplayMercedes could be a surprise here with George Russell who always goes well in Singapore, with Kimi Antonelli who has been fast in slow corners this season, the problem is that the car suffers a lot with the temperature and this is for all cars with Mercedes, the high temperatures affect the tire management, which could be a big problem in the race. Aston Martin is my wish is that it goes well but they're not very stable, at least Fernando did well in Hungary, in Monaco, so there are chances he finishes in the points, if he does well in qualy, the truth is there are so many IFs that it's like the interview with Verstappen "If my mother had balls would be my dad" but hopefully Adrian Newey keeps that record that wherever he goes the team becomes a monster. Racing Bulls is also an interesting team lately, especially Liam Lawson who last year when he replaced Ricciardo here in Singapore, had a very very good race, he even took out Max in Q2 but it was more an error in the Matrix than anything else. Liam has had a difficult year, but the last races he's been much better, closer to Hadjar, so he could score points here if everything goes well. This track is super important for all of Red Bull because after the results in Baku including Yuki, he also needs a good result, because it's rumored that he has until Mexico to prove he deserves to stay on the team but I think it's just a rumor since Mekies has said on several occasions that he wants him on the team and that they don't plan to change their drivers for the 2026 season. The drivers this weekend aren't going to have much practice and Quali is going to be the absolute key of this weekend, because overtaking in Singapore is almost impossible, it's like Monaco but a bit wider, so if you don't qualify well it's very difficult you can move up in position unless it's because of some SC which is very common on a street circuit like Singapore.

English Version - Click to DisplayAs for the strategy I think it will be the usual one stop, the tires hold up well here because the race pace is so slow, you're never pushing to the max, so there isn't as much wear as on other tracks, Pirelli brought the C5, C4 and C3 compounds which are the softest after the C6, which is the super soft they only use in Monaco basically, the weather is also going to play an important role because rain is expected during the weekend, especially on Friday, which could ruin the practice sessions, leave the teams without enough data for the car setup, that could benefit drivers like Max or Fernando who have a lot of experience and can adapt quickly to changing conditions, it could also cause chaos in the race, if it rains on Sunday, which would be incredible because Singapore in the rain is a total lottery, Red Bull also has to decide which front wing they're going to use, it's expected they won't run with the one from Baku which was for low downforce, it's already known they've been swapping parts between Verstappen and Yuki like the front wing and the car floor, not only to see which gives them better results but which each driver adapts to better, anyway this Singapore GP is going to define if Verstappen really has chances to fight for the championship or if this is definitely over, McLaren takes everything, personally I want to see Max win because that would make everything much more exciting the last seven races, but realistically I don't think Red Bull has the necessary pace to beat McLaren on a track like this, Lando should dominate like last year, Oscar needs to recover from the Baku disaster, with a solid podium minimum, if Max pulls off the miracle and wins, it would be the hardest blow for McLaren, it would show that Red Bull is still alive in this fight, that the championship hasn't ended, it would be the best possible scenario for us the fans.
