Today we are on premiere! We launch this community for all the friends of Rada's fantastic universe. For all those who have accompanied us for months and for all those who are coming into our world of fantasy creatures.

Hoy estamos de estreno. Estrenamos esta comunidad para todos los amigos del universo fantástico de Rada. Para todos aquellos que nos han acompañado desde hace meses y para todos aquellos que vayan llegando a nuestro mundo de criaturas de fantasía.

If you're new, let me tell you a little bit about Rada. Rada is more than just a strategy and trading cards game.

Si eres nuevo deja que te hable un poco acerca de Rada. Rada es algo más que un video juego de estrategia y de cartas comerciables.

Rada's story began to take shape in the mind of the one who writes to you (Marcos DK) 10 years ago. What began as a collection of small fantasy stories to enliven a role-playing game began to come to life of its own and create its own path.

La historia de Rada comenzó a tomar forma en la mente de este que os escribe (Marcos DK) hace ya 10 años. Lo que comenzó como una colección de pequeños relatos de fantasía para amenizar un juego de rol, empezó a cobrar vida propia y a crear su propio camino.

And then came the illustrations. Tired of borrowing drawings, I started creating my own illustrations. The first ones were horrible. With a lot of practice, perseverance and learning from the best, I have developed a very interesting skill, in my own opinion.

Y entonces llegaron las ilustraciones. Cansado de tener que pedir dibujos prestados comencé a crear mis propias ilustraciones. Las primeras fueron horribles. Con mucha práctica, perseverancia y aprendiendo de los mejores, he desarrollado una habilidad muy interesante, en mi propia opinión.

All this happened in my spare time, when I wasn't working as a computer science teacher. Until one day I decided to take the leap and throw Rada's universe into the world with a video game. I think for me it is the best way to do it since I will be able to join the 3 facets that define me as the creator of this fantasy universe: Writer, artist and software developer.

Todo esto ocurría en mi tiempo libre, cuando no estaba trabajando como profesor de informática. Hasta que un día decidí dar el salto y lanzar el universo de Rada al mundo de la mano de un video-juego. Creo que para mí es la mejor manera de hacerlo ya que podré unir las 3 facetas que me definen como creador de este universo de fantasía: Escritor, artista y desarrollador de software.

But it's not a project that wants to take it alone. I'd like Rada to be a fantasy world where many of you could feel part of it.

Pero no es un proyecto que quiera llevarlo en solitario. Me gustaría que Rada fuera un mundo de fantasía en el que muchos de vosotros pudierais sentiros parte de él.

But another way to create a living community is through the active collaboration of more people on the project. And I was always very clear that art would be a piece of great value in the project. And not just my art; I would like Rada to be a gallery for many artists. That not only can they expose their work as more pieces of the game; that can make a profit from the project. I already have several artists who are working in Rada, such as @xerllig, @axeman or @yanes94 whose most recent collaboration I show you below.

Pero otra manera de crear una comunidad viva es a través de la colaboración activa de más personas en el proyecto. Y siempre tuve muy claro que el arte sería una pieza de mucho valor en el proyecto. Y no solo mi arte; me gustaría que Rada sea una galería para muchos artistas. Que no solo puedan exponer sus trabajos como más piezas del juego; que puedan obtener beneficios gracias al proyecto. Rada Quest is a multiplayer and free-to-play online game that is still under development. The game style is about tradings cards and building. The theme of the game are the adventures of epic fantasy, sword and sorcery. The illustrations on the cards recreate fantasy scenes with courageous warriors and beautiful sorceresses. There is also place for monsters. The game includes a real-time strategy system on resource generation, building construction and development of a skill tree. However, the main body of the game is the creation of a deck of powerful cards to compete against other players or against the creatures of the game at events.

Rada Quest es un juego en línea multijugador y gratuito que aún está en desarrollo. El estilo del juego será del género de cartas coleccionables e intercambiables y de construcción. El tema del juego son las aventuras de fantasía épica, espada y brujería. Las ilustraciones de las cartas recrean escenas de fantasía con valientes guerreros y bellas hechiceras. También hay lugar para monstruos. El juego incluye un sistema de estrategia en tiempo real sobre generación de recursos, construcción de edificios y desarrollo de un árbol de habilidades. Sin embargo, el cuerpo principal del juego es la creación de un poderoso mazo de cartas para competir contra otros jugadores o contra las criaturas del juego en los eventos.
