Unique Hardcase from Ice Stick
Hello Steemian's!!
This time, I will share tips about how to create a unique hardcase made of ice stick. Maybe you guys want to have an unusual hardcase, anti mainstream and unique. Who says it takes a lot of money to get it? Hmm, we will make it using materials that are affordable. Is it hard to make it? No! You can make your own at home. Can not wait? Hehe let's start!
Material:
- A bag of ice stick
- Carton
- Scissor
- Pencil
- Glue
- Cutter
- Sandpaper
- Cutting Pillers
(Other decorations you can customize with your wishes. Here I use a homemade phyrography pen to create a dota 2 logo on the hardcase.)

Step:
First, arrange the ice stick as in the picture above and tape one with the other using glue.

Place the smartphone and draw the shape on the surface of the ice stick arrangement. Use the pencil to draw it.

Use the scissors to cut the arrangement of ice sticks following the shapes that have been drawn. After that, trim the cut marks.

Now, we'll make the curved corner. Use the tip of the cutter pliers to form the arch on the ice stick. Create 4 pieces for 4 corners. After that, use glue to paste it on the hardcase. Do not forget to trim the corner by cutting out the excess and unused.

Puree the hardcase surface using sandpaper. Make sure all the parts are smoothed whole.

We will make a hole for the camera, flash and speakers on the hardcase. So, we must know where the position of the hole. Take the case of smartphone model case. Then, place it on the surface of the hardcase and draw the shape of the hole following the shape in the example case of the smartphone model. Use pencil to do that.

Next, use the cutter to perforate the hardcase following the shape that have been drawn.

Use sandpaper paper to smooth the cut marks from the hole.

Now, we will create a protective layer of smartphones on the inside of the hardcase. Make a protective layer using carton. Cut out a large carton section of the hardcase. Do not forget to make a hole in the position that coincides with the camera, flash and speakers.

When you are done creating a protective layer, place it in the hardcase and paste it using glue.

The final step, decorate the hardcase with your creativity. You can make anything in the back of the hardcase. You can stick stickers, drawing, painting and others. Here, I created a logo dota 2. First, draw the logo using a pencil. Draw with the desired size. After that, create a fill on the logo using whatever you want. Can use paint, crayon and others. I use a homemade Phyrography Pen to make the fill.

And finally, ice stick hardcase is ready for use on your favorite smartphone.
