Hey Hive,
Time flies and I’ve been out for a month. I had a lot of work, so I couldn’t make the post I wanted. Sorry for leaving you for so long.
On the other hand, this month was really productive. The projects I worked on brought a lot of new knowledge, and I developed some really cool new mechanics — for example, I made my first VR game, which was showcased at an event. I’ll tell you more about that in upcoming posts.
Apart from that, despite not posting, I never stopped thinking about Hive and what I’d like to do here. I came up with new ideas and also a new way of posting, I think. Analyzing my posts, sometimes I feel I made them too structured — but not in a good way. It’s good to have a narrative structure, but I think I was a bit tight while writing. So from now on, the idea is to write more loosely and maybe be a bit vague, not overthinking every single word I type. Let me know what you think about this.
In other news, I almost forgot to participate in the #HPUD, but I managed to enter in the last hours. I powered up 123 Hive, so I got the Level 3 Badge again!
Im almost there to reach 500 HP! Really happy about it and going forward to my goal on reaching 1,400 HP by December
Also i just get this
It’s an Arduino UNO R3 kit.
I’ve been working as a freelancer for an Event Marketing Business here in Argentina. Some of the projects I’ve shown you come from them, and I’m really happy working with them. I like closer, more “warm” work relationships — I know it’s still business, but I work better when it doesn’t feel like just a transaction. This production company offered me exactly that, and through this dynamic they’ve also helped me grow a lot as a developer.
That’s why I’ve explored so many new mechanics and Unity implementations with plugins and libraries I never would have known about.
A lot of the stuff we do involves custom inputs and implementations, so I decided to start learning electronics to be able to create these new custom inputs and other cool stuff myself. I don’t have a specific project in mind yet, but I’ll start researching and see what I begin with. If any of you have already used Arduino, I’d appreciate your suggestions in the comments.
I’ll be sharing what I learn on this path with you!
That’s all for now, guys! I just wanted to make this small post to tell you I didn’t die haha, and share what’s coming next.
Hope you’re all doing well and have a great weekend!
