Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. On this challenge, I will share about how I decide to improve my deck by renting more cards with higher level, and how it's affect on my Splinterlands Journey. Let's check it out !

New Season, Chance for Improving the Squad

As I've mentioned on my previous Splinterlands post, for players that need to rent cards, then the end of season is very important event, because that's the time where most cards are ready to rent. This is because our rental system is now only on seasonal mode, no more daily rent, so all rent will only be over at the end of season (except if the renter decide to extend for one more season).

Yesterday, I decide to stay until the very end of season, and trying to get cheaper cards to improve my deck. I managed to get my favourite Splinter, Lorkus with the max level cost almost 200 dec. I also get 2nd level eternal tofu, and some other Splinters to give my deck a better level cap and buff. I also get some monsters to help me on the battlefield, because last season my monsters are most on silver level cap due to my summoner also on silver cap.

Here is my current rental cost, 660 DEC/ day , or around 10,560 DEC/ season. I have some double rent because my previous season are all extended, and now since I got the higher level, I will stop rent the lower level next season, so I can reduce my rental cost, except if I rent more higher level (likely).

Higher Level Cards, More Enjoyment, Experience, and Rewards

Today, with max level summoner, I can hire a better monsters and create more strategy. I can reach higher league easier now and enjoy the battlefield more because I can have more freedom to pick my strategy and met more interesting players with interesting strategy as well. My reward cards that almost max level now can be deployed with it's level than the previous season that is limited into silver or gold, and now I'm keen to max them out as soon as possible.

And about the rewards, higher league surely give me higher SPS on each win. The high cost of rent and bigger rewards has eager me to play more matches (sometimes I missed battle on previous season which cause my energy is wasted), and I'm thinking about getting more treasure chest to get more energy as well beside trying to max out my reward cards. And this season I would like to try the tournament, hopefully I can win some rewards because I have more cards on my deck, so I can have more confident now to join the tournament.

Try To Improve the Squad and Get More Energy Through Glint Shop

I think it's a waste to keep the glint too much, but now I think it will be more usefull If I use them at the moment, because I was having wasted energy and now I need more of it to max out my rewards and cover my rent cost. And since I have max level summoner now, I'm so excited to level up my reward cards, because some of them are really good at max level.

First thing I do is getting all 100 Major Chest for 100,000 glint ! And of course I will use both potion on all of it !

Got a legendary card here, but the rest is too many potions and merits. Only 7 cards out of 25 boxes !

The next 25 didn't getting better, with just 6 cards out of 25 boxes ! And most of them are common 😂

Now I got a gold foil and 1 epic card which is good. It's 11 out of 25 boxes are contains a cards, so it's quite good.

Now it's another bad pull with just 7 cards out of 25 boxes ! The cards are also only the rare and common.

My second way to improve the squad is getting the rare draw, all 100 cards ! Because I want to get higher level of rare cards, especially the quilliun legionaire that will have the bloodlust ! You can check the result on https://peakmonsters.com/@ramadhanight/explorer

Upgrading Time ! Get My First Max Level Reward Cards and Max Level Targetted Card !

My frist upgrade is Commander Slade, he got the 7th level now.

It's 1 melee damage addition ! It's a great one, but I have to be carefull with the forcefield !

Next the Continuum Seer, which can be upgraded into 7th level as well !

I speed, it's actually pretty good becaus the phase and backfire is her ability. Gonna be interesting at max level with 1 more speed and 1 more magic damage addition !

Here comes my first max level reward card ! Meriput Splinger !

It got the redemption ability, but I think it would not be very usefull, too bad.

Now here is the main prize ! My target monster, Quiliun Legionary ! He got max level as well now

He got very usefull Bloodlust Ability ! I really love this ability because he can grow stronger with every elimination he made !

Actually, I got some upgrade as well, but I won't mention it because it's not very special.

What's Next ?

Keep grinding ! With more cards, I'm getting even more excited to grind and earn more. Time to play more rank battle ! I'm looking for the next tournament as well, let's see where I will end, it's been a while since I join the tournament.
