Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. After doubled my rental cost this season, I want to give some review before the end of season about how my tournament result, my ranked battle league, and my glint shop spent before the batch restart. Let's check it out !
My Tournament Result
As I've mentioned on my Splinterlands Socmed Challenge 2 weeks ago, that I doubled my rental cost, and how I will try to join tournament this season, and I did ! My priority is only to take the modern format, because I play on modern league, so it match my cards, and playing on the wild format would give me massive disadvantage with very less cards available. So, instead of wasting my time, I think that join the modern format tournament is the best option.
Out of many tournament, I only join this 4 tournament, and the top one is still on going. I didn't knew If there is tourney that I missed, I hope not. Let's see the result of the 3 tournament that I joined.
The first one is the Tidairing Modern Adept Internation Tournament, where we played on bronze league and I managed to finish on 17th position to win 164.929 SPS.
Next there is Mount Mox Modern Expert Invitational Tournemnt, where I finish on 91th position and win 182.3 SPS
Last there is Victor's Modern Advanced Invitational where I finish at 89th position and win 121.5 SPS
From these 3 tournament, I managed to collect 468.729 SPS. Not so bad for cover almost half of my rental cost.
Highest League Reached
To be honest, I expect for getting to Diamond League easier, but turn out my deck are not that competitive.
I reached the Diamond III 2 days ago, and stuck on the Gold I and Diamond III until now. Both players and the bots just quite hard especially on the low mana cost. I think I have to rent more low mana cards so I can have better chance to win on the low mana cap ruleset. I also too depended with the fire and death summoner this season. I expect to get more high level summoners on the water and Earth or Life element as well. My neutral monster are also very limited which cause me almost got fcked up everytime the only neutral ruleset coming in.
The SPS rewards are actually nice if we get enough Staked SPS. Try getting some gold cards for getting higher reward multiplier. Let's try to rent more GF cards next season ! Hopefully I can get some cheap GF at tomorrow's rental war !
Try To Improve the Squad Through Glint Shop
After competing on Diamond League, I realize my reward cards still on low level and not ready to compete, especially the epic one. The death element healer is very awesome once it got the scavenger, but I still don't have it yet.
I decide to get more chest, hoping for a nice pull.
First I try to get 50 major chest which is the latest batch 1 of it. Not a great luck, only 1 epic cards that I actually looking for.
Next I try the Minor Chest. Got some nice gold foil cards, but no epic or legendary monsters.
Last I spent it on ultimate chest, only 1 cause that's the latest Glint I got. Unlucky, I only got the potions 😅
Upgrading Time !
I look at all of my reward cards, but only 1 monster is upgradeable today, it's the Giant Alpine Skink that can be upgraded into 7th level.
He got 1 health point addition on this upgrade. Not so bad to help him survive longer
What's Next ?
Well, to be honest I really want more epic cards, should I just spent my glint for specific epic cards which cost bigger glint ? But at the same time, I also thinking about maxing out all my common and rare cards 😅
Well, the most important thing for tomorrow is to stand by at the end of season and try to get the high level summoners and monsters at reasonable price !
