Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog. I'm back to bring news about Genesis League Goals, including the latest tournament result and some update from the dev. Let's check it out !
What is Genesis League Goals ?
I think some people might not know yet about this game, so let's give a little information about Genesis League Goals. Genesis League Goals is a strategy turn-based football theme game where players make decisions each round in order to try to score goals. Instead of having 11 players, each team only have 7 players on the field (1 GK, 2 CB, 2 MF, and 2 FW) plus a coach for extra buff or debuff. There are 2 rounds in a match, and each of them is having 20 turn. You can pass, dribble, or shoot the ball and each of them is having different % of success depend on player stats and the opponent stats. The win condition is when you score more goals than your opponent, if the score is same, there will be a draw, no extra time or penalty kick.
What makes this game is special ?

😎 The players are based on the MLSPA roster of players.
👍Upgradeable players and coach, and we can open slots that allow players to have additional buffs.
🙏 All players are NFT which are tradable on the market.
GLG is Not Over Yet !
There is less update since we got new faces on the players, but don't worry, this game wouldn't get over, at least that's what the dev said.
Speaking on the discord, the dev said this game will only discontinue only if the entire invennium system is discontinued, and I don't think it will ever happen (at least any sooner).
Beside that, the dev also share the updates about what the updates we will got. We can see the dev said that on GLS/ GLG, they will launch the Prime Pick in 1-3 month since July. It's already a month, so we still have 1-2 months left.
What is Prime Pick ? It's a prediction game where players can pick their choice, and peoples who got it right will share the reward based on the pool. This is a great game if you are a great analyzer ! Don't forget to stake some GLX for the reward multiplier !
Latest GLS Tournament and The Result
So, after 3 months of no tournament, players are finally had another tournament of GLS. GLX and GMLPSA card packs are there as rewards. 15k GLX worth around 16 Hive is the main prize, with 120 GMLSPA card packs as addition to improve the squad !
Tournament Result !
We got 13 participants here, but it seems some are got eliminated because they don't enter enough matches. I found myself on 8th position with 9 win, 3 lose, and 4 draw, and too bad that I have 8 matchs unplayed as well. The time is the problem, because the match is happened on live system, so both players need to online together. Anyway, I still got some nice rewards, 4k GLX and 40 GMLSPA card pack !
Suggestion For The Game
Since there is some difficuly of playing the tournament because we got different local time, I have a sugggestion to have some automatic matchmaking around the tournament pool at the end of the time. So the players should pick their team and it will play automatically at the end of period of the tournament. We can limit the number of matches allowed to keep the feeling of facing the players on real time still there. I personally think the tournament is great to connect the players, because we can start a private chat which we never did before, and the communication is built there ! But once again, the automatic tournament battle would help the players to have the same chance of winning the rewards even when they find difficulty on matching the time with all players.
What's Next ?
The next tournament will begin on 25th August. My plan is to unpack some GMLSPA card packs, try to upgrade my squad and level them up through matches. Hopefully I can have better squad on next tournament and try to reach higher position !
