"Pulse of Hue"
 ---Hello Hive family!
---Yes, I am working on a new piece... I am slowly getting closer and closer to finding my niché.
The idea is still to achieve this abstract painting of a human silhouette. But this time with a closer portrait.
I like the fact that every time I get more and more abstract on my paintings. I like the touch of a realistic human silhouette, but just to be very unreal about the painting.
It is interesting because I was an architect and when representing visuals we had to be as much realistic as possible. Now I hate the realism... we have it every day already with our eyes.. I need abstract and creativeness to get out of that real world.
First I started painting the background with different tones of red to ochre, browns and whites.
After that, I drew the silohuette of the shoulders and head for my portrait. Very rough.. good proportions but not perfet.
And started to paint with a very small spatula to have more control over the different colours I want to use.
Here you can see two close ups of the different strokes with my little spatula.
I stopped for now as I needed it to dry so I can keep adding layers and layers of strokes of different colors, I want it busier.
But for now this is what it is looking like:
I am not sure I am happy with the contrast between the figure and the background as it is not pretty strong and clear. Maybe a more blue tones background would have worked better. I will have it in mind for the next one,
