Wonderful Architectural Dining Place to Have Your Lunch - AMCO Restaurant

 As usual, Harith and I were able to find a reason to meet this Saturday also. We wanted to purchase more goods, so we went to Ambalangoda. As we had to walk till noon, we decided to take lunch somewhere nearby. When we pick up a location to dine in we always try to find an attractive place to see. So this time we selected the restaurant AMCO which belongs to Orenco reception hall and it's truly an amazing place to see. They have prepared many designs to attract customers to their restaurant. Orenco is a famous reception hall in Ambalangoda town. I have heard their food is also good at functions. I only saw the restaurant from its gate and same time I asked Harith to change the destination.  This is how it looks from the outside. But once you go inside you will see great decorations and architectural items to take some photos. I should say we have spent our time here taking photos more than eating. I am not sure whether this existed here before, I guess it started recently. Anyway, you can easily find this restaurant next to Orenco. The restaurant is open for both dining and takeaway. The building had an antique-looking interior, which also helped to make it a good location for photoshoots. I loved the color code they have used all over the place.   The best thing is they had indoor dining, outdoor dining as well as poolside dining. No one was using the pool at the moment. We picked a table on a verandah inside the building next to the pool. So we didn't expose to the sun.  Until they prepare food, we had a look at their landscaping. Actually, the location looked really good for a pre-shoot or a bridle shoot. We couldn't make that good snaps as we both were very tired and dark after walking from shop to shop. But we didn't forget to take some photos of the location because of the beauty of its architectural design. Their menu had a good variation, but we went for our usual rice meals. And additionally, we ordered cheese pasta. Actually, their service is very good and also they didn't take much time to prepare food.  They have a wonderful place with great taste food items also. I must recommend that place to anyone who are love to eat and take some great photographs. I am sharing few photos we have taken during our dining in the restaurant.    It took 3650 LKR total with the service charge. Actually, their service is very good and also the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Even though there was quite a good crowd, the place wasn't busy at all. Actually, it is worth visiting!
