🦉 The Eurasian bullfinch, common bullfinch or bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula)
- Pyrrhula (Greek): pyrrhos - red

I often hear the same question: "Where do bullfinches fly in the spring?" Well, to the forests, of course! Mainly to dense coniferous forests (or mixed forests with conifers), where they nest, and after they have nesting eggs, they sow very secretively. They themselves are generally quite quiet and unassuming when it comes to sowing.

As winter approaches, they reappear in cities due to a lack of food, specifically grass seeds, berries, and tree buds. Therefore, they visit bird feeders in parks or courtyards, and adore rowan or viburnum berries.
