At the end of August, my husband and I entered our tenth year of marriage. It's hard to believe we've already been through a decade filled with joy and struggles, often tinged with tears.
Ten years isn't a short time, but it's not a time to mature into a married couple. Marriage is the longest act of worship in a person's life, and it requires a willingness to learn throughout their lives. Therefore, to navigate it, emotional, spiritual, and financial maturity is required.
At this age of marriage, love is no longer the sole reason for being together. Each year, we unravel layers. In this tenth layer of marriage, the desire to nurture love at all times is crucial to ensure its continued existence. Because a lifetime is too long, those sparks of love must be felt at all times.
