My Trip to the Netherlands ☀️⛵️🍺🧀 | Part 1

Hello everybody! 😊

How are you?

I´m good. Having alot of gigs with my band and most free time goes into this right now. It´s great to be able to play drums again and earn money with it AND earn great feedback for my drumming. 😄

I´m taking it slow today, as I have another gig tomorrow. But it´s time for a new post. I wanted to make a post about my trip in the summmer to the Netherlands. This is already 2 months 😱 ago and I didn´t have the time to do it yet. So here we go!

For the first time, we drove up all the way to the north coast of the Netherlands, to the Ijsselmeer.

Our dog had the best and most comfortable spot in the car, like always. 😁 She loves driving, so she just chilled most of the way.

After around 6 hours of drive, we arrived and we loved it right away!! 😍

We rented a house to have on our own. But this wasn´t in a town, it was outside on the sea directly. There were 40 houses and a restaurant on this "island". You had to park on the mainland and then had to walk the rest to the house over a long bridge.

This was so cool! Sea on the one side of the house, and the marina on the other side. It was just beautiful! 😲

The view from the garden was just beautiful! Boats were sailing by directly to the sea, seagull were flying by, and I love the sound of them! It really made me feel relaxed right away.

Sometimes I was just sitting there and looked on the water. It was so relaxing and felt so good. My dog loved it too! 😄

The evenings there were also gorgeous. When you were able to see the sun go down on the sea.

And this picture was taken at 11.15 pm and it was still not dark at all. I love it when the sun goes down so late. But where I live, in the summer the longest it´s still light outside is like 10.30 pm. Here it was much longer and it was just an awesome feeling.

The inside of the house was also very very nice! Lot´s of room. Especially the living room felt very cosy. We were sitting there in the evening watching soccer on TV, because there was the European Championship of the Women.

We also had a sauna inside the house and a fireplace.

It got cold in the evenings, so we also used that. It was great.

Laying in bed at night watching the sea and the lights out there was also sooo relaxing.

I think that gave you enough impressions about the house and the surrounding. Now let´s start with the cities we visited there and little trips we did.

On the first day we drove to a city called "Den Helder" and walked around a little bit. Looked at the shops and the harbour. It was so beautiful and impressive to see all these ships. For me they were big because I´ve rarely been in a big harbour in my life.

We went to a little Restaurant right near the harbour and had typical netherlands beer, typical liqueur and some sandwiches and cheese. It was sooo good!

I have sooo many more photos and lot´s to tell. But the post will become too long. That´s why I will make a second part of it in a few days.

This was one of the best vacations we had in our lives, so that´s why we made aloooot of photos. 😂 We will definitely go back to this place soon!
