A Little Video Experiment 🎥 | A Hole Puncher 😅

How are you doing?

It´s time for another post. But I have been very busy the last days. I am having a gig soon with a different band. They asked me if I can play the drums there for one gig because they main drummer can´t make it to the gig. So we are practising quite a bit. 🎵
Also, my relatives from the USA are currently here in Germany, so we are hanging out with them alot, going to dinner, talk, etc. I didn´t see my cousin for 10 years. So we have alot to talk about. 😊

I still want to make a short post today. So I will show you something a friend and I did for testing out new stuff at work.

We tried to take a very boring object and experimented how to film and edit it to make it an interesting video.
My friend came up with the idea of taking a hole puncher and he made some shots.
After that I had an idea for editing the video, so I searched for a fitting music and started to cut the video.
Then we filmed some more shots that we needed to make the video more "interesting".
And as a last step, I added some lens flare effects so make it look nicer.

And I think I am happy with the result. 😄 Didn´t think I was able to make such an interesting video out of a boring object. But well, it helped me gain more experience and showed me again, that preproduction, editing and effects is everything.
