This story is of a boy who is overweight and often bullied by his classmates. People despise him for his look and weight and they treat him like a pig. His name is Hyung Suk, his classmate Lee Tae Seng often treats him like an animal even his friends are participating in the activity of bullying. One day at home Hyung asked his mother to change his school because his friends grades are getting higher but his grades are always bad. He didn't want to tell his mother the real reason so, he made another excuse. His mother denied because their financial status is not that well, this made Hyung furious and he got mad at his mother. His mother seemed really upset and on the other side Hyung was feeling guilty to behave like that with his mom.
Next day he arrived at school and his classmates again started to bully him by throwing football at his body. Meanwhile Hyung's mother came at the school to talk with the teacher for Hyung's transferring and then when she was leaving she saw her son was getting hurt by the Lee Tae Seng, she was frustrated and started to defend her son by hitting on the guy but Hyung stopped his mother as others were making fun of the situation. Later when they arrived home Hyung's mother told him that he can change into a new school and she will carry the expense but he has to live alone in a different place. Hearing this made him cry and he was happy at the same moment.

Hyung thought of getting a new hair cut and he did that actually but it didn't look any better. On his way he saw a girl and he smiled at her thinking of a friendly gesture but her date arrived a tall handsome guy who punched Hyung really badly and people were recording them. He soon got viral and this made Hyung depressed. At his new home he was crying at a corner and feeling unlucky because nothing goes his way. He fell asleep and woke up in the midnight because he needed to use the washroom, suddenly he realized he has become tall and when he looked in the mirror he saw a tall handsome guy with abs and that's him. He thought he was dreaming then he woke up in his original form where he saw that the previous body is lying beside him. Throughout the night he kept experimenting the situation.
He noticed 4 things, one if he sleeps in one body then the other body wakes up, second he can't wakeup by himself unless someone forces him to, third his other body is only asleep and it still feels hunger, fourth his consciousness is awake during the 24hrs. He decided to divide his schedule by 12hrs for both bodies. The next morning he has to attain the new school and he arrived there with his new tall body. Everyone around him was shocked and girls were drooling over him. He couldn't realize it because it was his first time experiencing. In the class he found that the girl from other day is here too and her name is Mi Jin and the guy beat him up is also there who's name is Jin Sung, both of them are his classmate.
Hyung with his new body gains strength and he can beat up anyone he wants, he decides to stand by the people who is like him. His adventurous journey begins as he continues to switch his body.
In my opinion this is one of the best inspiring korean comic book, because it gives you body positivity vibes. This book shows us the reality of the world, how people get neglected because of their looks and not accepted into the society. But "Lookism" will change your mindset because it teaches us to know the person in real than judging because of the looks. Looks are temporary but personality is permanent. The bullying is real I have seen many kids bullying their one class mate and I have always stood against them. I can never allow myself to watch someone getting bullied. This book raises awareness about bullying and violence. Lookism is not only about beauty but also about inner beauty. We get to see the life of a person who gets bullied and feel the scenario through walking in the shoes of Hyung.
It is an unfortunate this is actually happening all around the world, but we are the one who can change the world. If we can change our mindset about beauty standards then one day we all will be one. The artstyle is not that good but trust me the storyline is far better than what you read most of the time. This is still on-going and you can still keep a track on it. Currently there are 568 chapters and more are coming soon. If you start reading it once then you will get addicted for sure because it is worth our time. As you read more you will get some conclusion of how the 2nd body appeared, I am still reading it and confused about it but there are many theories about it. Day by day it is getting more interesting.

Pronto se hizo viral y esto deprimió a Hyung. En su nueva casa estaba llorando en una esquina y se sentía desafortunado porque nada le salía bien. Se quedó dormido y se despertó a medianoche porque necesitaba ir al baño. De repente se dio cuenta de que se había vuelto alto y cuando se miró en el espejo vio a un tipo alto y guapo con abdominales, y ese era él. Pensó que estaba soñando y se despertó en su forma original, donde vio que el cuerpo anterior estaba tumbado a su lado. Durante toda la noche siguió experimentando la situación.
Se dio cuenta de 4 cosas, una si duerme en un cuerpo entonces el otro cuerpo se despierta, segundo no puede despertarse por si mismo a menos que alguien lo obligue, tercero su otro cuerpo solo esta dormido y aun siente hambre, cuarto su conciencia esta despierta durante las 24hrs. Decide dividir su horario en 12 horas para ambos cuerpos. A la mañana siguiente tenia que llegar a la nueva escuela y llego alli con su nuevo cuerpo alto. Todo el mundo a su alrededor estaba conmocionado y las chicas babeaban por él. El no podia darse cuenta porque era la primera vez que lo experimentaba. En la clase descubrio que la chica del otro dia tambien estaba aqui y se llamaba Mi Jin y el chico que le dio la paliza tambien estaba alli y se llamaba Jin Sung, ambos eran sus compañeros de clase.
Hyung con su nuevo cuerpo gana fuerza y puede golpear a quien quiera, decide estar al lado de la gente que es como el. Su viaje de aventuras comienza mientras continua cambiando su cuerpo.
En mi opinión, este es uno de los mejores cómics coreanos inspiradores, porque transmite positividad corporal. Este libro nos muestra la realidad del mundo, cómo la gente es ignorada por su aspecto y no es aceptada en la sociedad. Pero «Lookism» cambiará tu mentalidad porque nos enseña a conocer a la persona de verdad en lugar de juzgarla por su aspecto. La apariencia es temporal, pero la personalidad es permanente. El acoso es real. He visto a muchos niños acosar a sus compañeros de clase y siempre me he opuesto a ellos. No puedo permitirme ver cómo acosan a alguien.
