"Woke Up as the Ceo's Dog" is a Korean webtoon, this is a story of a girl who one day found herself in the body of a dog and the owner of the dog is a CEO of a reputed company. The story is interesting as it moves forward there are many comedic scenes which will make you laugh for sure. Usually these types of story are seen but this manhwa will give you a different flavor.

The story follows Umi Seo, she's a overworked office worker. Even though she does everything she got her paycheck cut. This left Umi Seo with frustration, she was waiting in the bus stand then she found a poster of a missing dog who's name is Dildong, suddenly the dog appeared Infront of her.

Umi Seo decided to call the man who the dog belonged to, the dog was walking here and there and she followed the dog, they got under a big tree which was never seen before, It was raining, and thunderbolts were flashing across the sky something strange was going on with the atmosphere and the owner of the dog arrived at the place in a while. When Umi Seo saw the man she realized it's the CEO of her company Mr Baek.

She had a beef with him 4 years ago where he demeaned her. But she pretended not to recognize him. It was heavily raining Umi Seo asked for a lift and they were in the car. Dildong in the back sit was resting peacefully. Umi Seo was recalling the moment where CEO Baek was very rude to her but he is very soft with his pet dog Dildong, she was envying the life of Dildong and wishing if she could lead a life like Dildong, later she realized what in the crazy was she thinking.

CEO dropped off Umi Seo at her place and asked her to text him her bank details so he would pay her for finding his dog. Umi Seo smiled and left but she was mad about his attitude as she didn't find the dog for money but to help the dog to find it's owner. Umi Seo in anger felt asleep on her bed and when she woke up the first thing she saw was her boss is shirtless in her bed.

Baek was showering her with warm smile. This shocked Umi Seo, when she tried to talk she was woofing and Baek started calling her Dildong. Umi Seo was stunned to find out that she's inside the body of a dog and it's the pet dog who she helped to find. Umi Seo tried to talk but as now she's a dog no one can understand her.

Baek started to offer Umi Seo the dog food which made her feel disgusted, she resisted everything he did for her. Baek was worried that his dog is now behaving weirdly. After one day Baek realized Umi Seo is on his bed he could not believe that she has become Dildong, but then he saw her transforming into a dog as the sun rises.

The question arises how will both them cooperate, will Umi Seo have to live her long life as a pet dog of her boss?

The story is very funny to me, Umi Seo became the pet dog of the person she disliked the most because of his attitude and now she got to see another side of his personality. When Baek was talking with Umi Seo as a human being he was very cold towards her but when it's about his dog he always shows his vulnerable side to the dog aka Dildong. This is really a sweet and comedic story. I am pretty sure many people will take interest after knowing about the story of the manhwa.

Dildong is really cute, while reading this manhwa I was wishing to have a dog like Dildong, like it would be super cute. But the saddest part is that the animals lifespan is shorter and when they leave the world it gives a pain which can not be described for that reason I never had a pet. I really love pets but I never thought of having one, because of their short lifespan and I get attached very easily so yeah. But Dildong is so adorable I just don't know how to resist anymore.

The character of Umi Seo is very bold and a strong character who knows how to put out her words. She is confident and now in the body of a dog she has lost her ability to say anything at all. I am sure Baek is going to bully Umi Seo but as he loves Dildong a lot I think he won't do anything when she transfered into Dildong.

But when she's in human form he will do some leg pulling for sure. The manhwa is still on-going and there are only few chapters so I don't know what will happen in the future. I am still waiting for their new chapters to be released. This is one manhwa that I am so excited about. I really want to see some romance between them. When Umi Seo feels shy she looks really adorable, I really want to see how they work out with romance. I hope the story won't be predictable.

I want to see some drama and some twists, but I think there won't be any as there's a tag for comedy. This is really hilarious how Umi Seo is struggling as a dog, like I can't imagine myself being like that and eating dog food. It would be nice if she could eat dog food as she turned into a dog but it seems like her taste is still like the human beings. So, there are going to be more comedy and that's what I believe so far.

The artstyle is below average, like I have not seen more chapters so I don't know if it will get better in the new chapters so I won't judge it. The ones I have seen so far I will say the art style is really good it's not bad at all. I appreciate the hard work of the artist for making funny expressions, like they suit a lot with the situations which are created. The color combinations are also amazing I have taken a liking into the artstyle of Della and it's my first time seeing their artstyle.

My personal take on this manhwa is that it's really good, if you're looking for comedy then this will give you a good laugh, it also has good amount of romance and fantasy. I was feeling down but got myself cheered by reading this funny manhwa, so you can try it too.
