Love and Time Travel

Hola, comunidad, el amor tiene una esencia especial que inspira guiones, combinando el tiempo y lo imposible en sus historias. Esta semana les presenté tres series Sur coreanas que están inspiradas en el amor y los viajes en el tiempo. Como siempre les comparto, me agrada buscar nuevas series coreanas para formular mis reseñas, aunque me tarde un poco en traer estas recomendaciones. Mi lista de dramas sigue creciendo, algunas de estas series los disfrutes hace ya un tiempo. Empezaré narrando mi reseña por la primera que llegó a mi lista: Amor y viajes en el tiempo.

### De qué trata y lo que me gustó de la serie El Rey Monarca Eterno es una serie protagonizada por actor Lee Min-ho. Una serie inspirada en el universo paralelo y un amor que va más allá de las distancias entre ellos. En una región de ese universo, el Emperador Lee Gon reina con esplendor, elogiado por su pueblo, aunque su reinado esconde traiciones y mandatarios que trabajan secretamente por poner fin a su legado. En esa lucha por revelar muchas verdades de su realidad, no se imagina que su mundo será ligado por una línea de tiempo a la Corea actual en la que se encuentra con una detective llamada Jung Tae-eul que también busca hacer justicia y defender su realidad. Su lucha por descubrir el misterio que los envuelve los lleva a enredos que unen ambos mundos, mezclando no solo persecuciones, venganza; ambos quedan marcados por un amor que va más allá de los límites temporales. Esta serie me la recomendó una de mis tías, me gusto mucho como se desenvuelve la fantasía y el amor sencillo entre ambos, el drama de acción y el papel de ciertos personajes como el guardia Jo Eun-sup, mostrando en su historia un mensaje en el que el verdadero amor existe más allá de la eternidad, incluso que puede traspasar los universos paralelos.

La serie Alice presenta la historia de una mujer llamada Yoon Tae-yi junto a un programa futurista llamado Alice, que le otorga el acceso a viajar a través del tiempo, llegar a días específicos del pasado, incluso el futuro. Tae-yi es parte de este programa, sin embargo, busca una respuesta a través del tiempo, viajando a su pasado, evitando con su vida desastres que marcaron su futuro y el pasado de su familia. Su historia esconde un misterio, por eso, al ver esta serie hay que estar pendiente de cada detalle, es como armar un rompe cabeza que traza el destino de los protagonistas. Este drama mezcla el pasado, el encuentro con mundos paralelos y una línea del tiempo que cruza el amor hacia el detective Park Jin-gyeom. Aunque al principio me perdí un poco el centro de la historia, rápidamente entendí que el amor maternal, el amor de pareja y el tiempo deben ser valorados. El egoísmo y el valor de la vida no deben ser más importantes que la tecnología. Pienso que todos soñamos con el poder de viajar al pasado, cambiar nuestros desastres. Tener ese poder nos volvería egoístas y crearíamos monstruos en lugar de seres humanos. Es una serie que vale la pena mirar y reflexionar sobre lo que haría la IA y el ser humano si tocará el poder de controlar el tiempo.

Finalmente, llegamos a mi favorita de esta lista del el amor y los viajes en el tiempo, se trata de la hermosa historia Lovely Runner(2024). En lo personal, me gusta ver series coreanas que me saquen una sonrisa con sus ocurrencias; esta es una de ellas. La protagonista de esta serie es la simpática Im Sol una fan enamorada y amante de kpop, en especial de Ryu Sun Jae. Para Im Sol el ídolo Ryu Sun Jae es especial no solo por su talento, ella guarda un lindo recuerdo de una dedicatoria de este chico en un día trágico en su vida. Un mensaje que le devolvió las ganas de vivir y recuperar su vida. Para Ryu Sun Jae su vida termina, apenas empieza esta historia, dando así el paso a un giro en el destino y el cruze a las líneas del tiempo, a un pasado que los une. Viajar al pasado para Im Sol representa evitar el trágico destino de su ídolo favorito, un paseo al pasado en el cual el amor cruzará con ella para ser posible lo imposible.Los encuentros graciosos entre los personajes son admirables. Para muchas chicas, ver este romance juvenil las hace imaginar cómo sería viajar al pasado, el pasado y conocer a ese ídolo antes de ser famoso, es interesante. Cambiar el pasado también sería factible cuando se quiere evitar tragedias, principalmente cuando el amor entre una pareja salta los límites del tiempo, imaginar esta probabilidad es maravilloso, salvar a quienes amamos de la muerte y cambiar su futuro, es una buena razón para manejar el espacio del tiempo.

This week, I presented three South Korean series inspired by love and time travel. As I always share with you, I enjoy looking for new Korean series to review, even if it takes me a while to bring you these recommendations. My list of dramas continues to grow, and you may have already enjoyed some of these series a while ago. I'll start my review with the first one on my list: Love and Time Travel.

### What it's about and what I liked about the series The Eternal Monarch is a series starring actor Lee Min-ho. A series inspired by a parallel universe and a love that transcends the distance between them. In one region of that universe, Emperor Lee Gon reigns with splendor, praised by his people, although his reign hides betrayals and leaders who are secretly working to end his legacy. Their struggle to uncover the mystery surrounding them leads them into entanglements that unite both worlds, mixing not only persecution and revenge; both are marked by a love that transcends the limits of time. This series was recommended to me by one of my aunts. I really liked how the fantasy and simple love between the two unfolded, the action drama, and the role of certain characters such as the guard Jo Eun-sup, showing in their story a message that true love exists beyond eternity and can even transcend parallel universes.

The Alice series tells the story of a woman named Yoon Tae-yi and a futuristic program called Alice, which gives her the ability to travel through time, reaching specific days in the past and even the future. Tae-yi is part of this program, but she seeks answers through time, traveling to her past to prevent disasters that marked her future and her family's past. Her story hides a mystery, so when watching this series, you have to pay attention to every detail. It's like putting together a puzzle that traces the fate of the protagonists. This drama mixes the past, encounters with parallel worlds, and a timeline that crosses over with the love for detective Park Jin-gyeom. Although at first I was a little lost in the center of the story, I quickly understood that maternal love, romantic love, and time must be valued. Selfishness and the value of life should not be more important than technology. I think we all dream of having the power to travel back in time and change our disasters. Having that power would make us selfish, and we would create monsters instead of human beings. It is a series worth watching and reflecting on what AI and humans would do if they had the power to control time.

Finally, we come to my favorite on this list of love and time travel, the beautiful story Lovely Runner (2024). Personally, I like to watch Korean series that make me smile with their wit, and this is one of them. The protagonist of this series is the friendly Im Sol, a fan and lover of K-pop, especially Ryu Sun Jae. For Im Sol, the idol Ryu Sun Jae is special not only because of his talent, but also because she has a fond memory of a dedication from him on a tragic day in her life. It was a message that gave her back her will to live and recover her life. For Ryu Sun Jae, his life ends just as this story begins, giving way to a twist of fate and a crossing of timelines, to a past that unites them. For Im Sol, traveling to the past means avoiding the tragic fate of her favorite idol, a journey into the past in which love will cross paths with her to make the impossible possible.The humorous encounters between the characters are admirable. For many girls, watching this youthful romance makes them imagine what it would be like to travel back in time and meet that idol before they became famous. It's interesting. Changing the past would also be feasible when you want to avoid tragedies, especially when the love between a couple transcends the limits of time. Imagining this possibility is wonderful: saving those we love from death and changing their future is a good reason to manipulate the space-time continuum.
