Among the bushes, bathed in the morning sunlight, I found a beautiful butterfly resting on a leaf. It was a great eggfly, or Hypolimnas bolina in Latin. It's a medium-sized butterfly from the Nymphalidae family.
The butterfly was a beautiful dark brown butterfly with a unique white pattern. Upon closer inspection, the pattern on the edges of its wings resembled delicately designed pearl beads. When the sunlight reflected off its wings, it gave off a beautiful shimmer, very soothing to the eye.
It seemed to be camouflaged, it didn't move at all. At first glance, it looked like a dry, hollow leaf. Furthermore, when I found it, it was still, like a statue, further enhancing its camouflage. It didn't move a single part of its body, including its antennae. Normally, a butterfly that remained so still would be fidgeting with its antennae. But this butterfly was completely still, not moving at all.
As for its habitat, the great eggfly butterfly, like other butterfly in general, prefers fresh green environments and colorful flower gardens. If you see a lot of butterflies in a certain area, don't panic. It's a sign that the area still has clean, pollution-free air. Butterfly dislike places with air pollution.
