Hübner wasp moth

Nature always has its own way of presenting extraordinary miracles every second. This time, I discovered that extraordinary miracle in the form of a tiny creature busy exploring the green expanse. I found it pacing back and forth at the tip of a plant stem, meticulously examining every detail of the stem.

Judging by the way it inspected the stem, it was likely preparing for a long rest there. This is one of the habits of insects before choosing a resting place. They first check whether a place is safe to live in. But strangely, it wasn't bothered by my presence, even though I was very close to it. Perhaps it had a fortune telling ability, so it knew I wouldn't harm it.

The beautiful insect I found was a Hübner wasp moth, or Amata huebneri in Latin. This insect is a species of insect belonging to the genus Amata and belongs to the Erebidae family. It is also one of the moths with a unique and interesting costume. Orange with black stripes, a characteristic tiger coloration. Both wings are also decorated with beautiful patterns that resemble glass windows.

Not only that, but its antennae are equally beautiful. They're long and gracefully curved at the tips. However, it's important to note that the tips aren't always curved, they sometimes straighten. You could say the antennae are radars, always alert, reading the vibrations in the air around them. Its long legs add to its elegance.
