¡Hola, comunidad de amantes del manga y anime!
Uno de los personajes con la historia más triste en el Universo de Shingeki no Kyojin, para mí es Levi Ackerman.
Tuvo que vivir la mayor parte de su vida en el mundo subterráneo, alejado de la superficie, sin poder disfrutar de la libertad que había aún estando dentro de los muros de Paradis.
Sin conocer a su padre, pasó la infancia con su madre quien tenía que dedicarse a trabajar como dama de compañía hasta que, enferma, muere dejándolo completamente solo.
Al empezar a buscar a Kuchel, Kenny encuentra a un Levi desnutrido en la misma habitación con el cadaver de su madre. Éste, tal vez movido por los lazos de sangre, lo toma bajo su custodia, lo entrena y cuando siente que ya Levi tiene suficientes herramientas para defenderse solo, lo abandona.
Levi, con sus habilidades naturales, logra coordinar a un grupo de pillos en la ciudad subterránea y junto con Farlan e Isabel logran sobrevivir.
Posteriormente, la vida le arrebatará de una forma cruel a las primeras personas que formaron junto a él, lo más cercano que tenía a una familia.
Así que, en esa etapa de su vida, Levi no fue de los que pudieran disfrutar de una vida tranquila y feliz siempre. Sin embargo, su madre fue una parte de la poca alegría que pudo tener.
Quise hacer una escena donde Kuchel y él como bebé, comparten un momento de esa poca felicidad que pudo tener.
Usé brochas de lápices para el lineart y colores acuarelables para el coloreado. También usé brochas de tizas pasteles para el fondo.
Apliqué un trazo sucio para darle más aspecto de boceto y a la vez darle un aspecto suave y tierno a la escena. Esta fue la ilustración:
Sinceramente, me hubiese gustado que Levi tuviera un desenlace más feliz en la historia después de tanto sufrimiento. Sin embargo, podríamos decir que terminó como un soldado valiente después del cumplimiento del deber. Y los que hacemos fanarts de él, podemos darle un poquito de alegría con las escenas que creamos sobre él.

One of the characters with the saddest story in the Universe of Attack on Titan, for me, is Levi Ackerman.
He had to live most of his life in the underground world, away from the surface, unable to enjoy the freedom that still existed within the walls of Paradis.
Without knowing his father, he spent his childhood with his mother, who had to work as a companion until she fell ill and died, leaving him completely alone.
When Kenny starts looking for Kuchel, he finds a malnourished Levi in the same room with his mother's corpse. Moved perhaps by blood ties, Kenny takes him under his custody, trains him, and when he feels Levi has enough tools to defend himself, he abandons him.
With his natural abilities, Levi manages to coordinate a group of thugs in the underground city, and together with Farlan and Isabel, they manage to survive.
Later, life cruelly takes away from him the first people who formed a family with him, the closest he had to a family.
So, in that stage of his life, Levi was not one of those who could enjoy a quiet and happy life always. However, his mother was part of the little joy he could have.
I wanted to create a scene where Kuchel and him as a baby share a moment of that little happiness he could have.
I used pencil brushes for the lineart and watercolor paints for the coloring. I also used pastel chalk brushes for the background.
I applied a dirty line to give it a more sketch-like appearance and at the same time give the scene a soft and tender aspect. This was the illustration:
Honestly, I would have liked Levi to have a happier ending in the story after so much suffering. However, we could say that he ended as a brave soldier after fulfilling his duty. And those of us who make fan art of him can give him a little joy with the scenes we create about him.
