¡Hola, comunidad de amantes del manga y anime!
¡Feliz inicio de semana!
La semana pasada, compartí con la comunidad artículos de tipo informativo, ya que estaba dedicada a trabajar en algunos proyectos que están tomando algo de tiempo antes de poder comenzar a compartirlos, así que no tenía ilustraciones nuevas para compartirles.
Una de las cosas que he querido practicar es el diseño de personajes. Me encanta mucho trabajar sus características físicas y también su personalidad.
Y para mantenerme motivada, apliqué la misma técnica que usé cuando estaba empezando a practicar el género de romance y me uní a la comunidad de selfshipping para tener personas con quienes intercambiar y mantener la chispa creativa encendida.
Esta vez, me uní a comunidades de adoptables. Los adoptables son personajes que sus creadores ceden a otras personas, bien sea con una licencia para uso personal o comercial, y bajo los términos que solicite el creador del mismo.
Algunos creadores dan en adopción a sus personajes a cambio de un art trade. Otros, solicitan pagos que van de acuerdo a la complejidad o rareza del personaje y las habilidades de quien los crea. También se toma en cuenta si estos personajes cuentan con assets: fanarts ya creados para ese personaje, más ilustraciones, historias, etc.
No hay restricciones en cuanto al tipo de personaje a crear: los hay desde humanos, humanoides, furries, etc. La creatividad no tiene límites.
También es una comunidad con reglas bastante estrictas. Algunas de ellas van desde dar crédito a los creadores originales hasta la prohibición de IAs para crear los mismos. Tambien, en el caso de usar bases para la elaboración del adoptable, se debe acreditar al creador original de la base.
Ya que esto es algo bastante nuevo para mí, decidí crear una página de Facebook dedicada sólamente a este tema y un canal de Discord. Así, puedo ir creando una comunidad que esté interesada en los adoptables y que tal vez no estén tan interesados en el manga o el anime como en mi perfil principal.
También quiero compartir en esos lugares, información relacionada específicamente a creación de personajes. Esto me sirve tanto para repasar como para compartir con quienes estén interesados en el tema.

Happy start of the week!
Last week, I shared informative articles with the community because I was dedicated to working on some projects that are taking some time before I can start sharing them, so I didn't have new illustrations to share with you.
One of the things I wanted to practice is character design. I love working on their physical characteristics and also their personality.
And to keep myself motivated, I applied the same technique I used when I started practicing the romance genre and joined the selfshipping community to have people to exchange with and keep the creative spark alive.
This time, I joined adoptable communities. Adoptables are characters that their creators give to other people, either with a license for personal or commercial use, and under the terms requested by the creator.
Some creators give their characters for adoption in exchange for an art trade. Others request payments according to the complexity or rarity of the character and the skills of those who create them. It is also taken into account if these characters have assets: already created fanarts for that character, more illustrations, stories, etc.
There are no restrictions on the type of character to create: there are humans, humanoids, furries, etc. Creativity has no limits.
It is also a community with quite strict rules. Some of them range from giving credit to the original creators to the prohibition of using AI to create the same. Also, in the case of using bases for the creation of the adoptable, the original creator of the base must be credited.
Since this is something quite new for me, I decided to create a Facebook page dedicated solely to this topic and a Discord channel. This way, I can start building a community interested in adoptables who might not be as interested in manga or anime as in my main profile.
I also want to share information specifically related to character creation in those places. This serves me both to review and to share with those interested in the topic.
