Splinterlands has been performing delightfully in terms of brining new attributes to the game for the last couple of weeks. The team has been trying their best to give out every possible update and brining new ways to make the game more fun and exciting. Well, some of the news have got the existing players feel like great, while some are having different thoughts.
So many things are happening right now in the universe of Splinterlands. At the moment we can talk about
* `DAR 'GOTTEM' GEARNUT`! The `GOLD ARCANE FORTUNE DRAW - DAY 4 (#2/5)` is currently going on and seems like folks are getting prepared to get their hands on this amazing card for their decks. Well I must say it is going to a tough battle and hoepfully it will be worth it in the long run!
* `Conclave Arcana Conflict: Gnome Time to Die`! Another interesting phase which is riling up in the community and not to forget the previous ones were indeed worth while to go with and no wonder this one will also be great to be a part of.
* `43 brand-new cards have been launched in the game!` Yes some of those cards are getting quite praised within the community and some have already started to gather those cards in order to make their decks stronger than before.

Well things should get interesting in the coming days that is for sure. Now coming to talk about today's topic. Dark Energy Crystal! No wonder a lot has been happening to Splinterlands. It is good that the existing players are having a good time with new tools and new ways to earn in the game. While let us not forget about DEC. I mean it is currently trading at the range of $0.0006. Which is sort of shocking to be honest. At this rate it will go further down the road. While there are certain aspects which might change and it has happened in the past as well.
DEC being at this price is not really a good news for SPS. Well the overall metric ratio and the way it was designed that once DEC reached the value of $0.001 or above we get to see the a burn of SPS taking place. Which will not only take the throne of SPS to its new heights but it will serve its purpose. Well at the present scenario things are probably not going in the favor of DEC or SPS. While there are certain propositions which can be made and eventually the impact of those decisions will fall into DEC and SPS at the same time.

We definitely need more and more use case of DEC. SPS saw a huge amount of staking within the game. That staking part surely impacted SPS and existing users are making the best use of it. Already a majority of SPS holders have already staked their SPS within the game for being able to get some juicy rewards and also have their sayings in the game. Existing players have a solid reason to hold SPS in their account, while for DEC seems like there is not at the moment.

At the moment DEC is going through a rough phase. The way it is going down it is not being able to find a base of Support. It needs a reason to hold its price range and a solid reason for people to obtain this token. Until and unless we can come up with a reason it will probably see a price dump. But make no mistake, the folks who are within the eco system of Splinterlands, may that it be players/investors they sure knows what would happen once that reason comes out and where DEC would walk towards within a couple of days. Every major announcement regarding DEC or the game, the price of DEC and SPS saw an enormous amount of growth. This is not a hidden truth, we all are aware of that. And once that happens DEC will see a 40% growth within couple of days.
Nevertheless, the main issue right now is giving a reason to DEC to hold its price range and if we are able to give that reason we will eventually see the surge of price and those who are currently accumulating DEC at% discount will eventually make some real easy money along the road. Well, time will say what will happen and if you are willing to go on that road or the price will go down further along the road.
