Good day and Happy weekend dear. Today I'm gonna get some painting on this newly made wooden swing for more shiny true tone at home. Well I've forgotten what type of wood is made of, but surely is heavier than the normal one as the local says. Due to takes longer time to cut and sturdy inside.
Now then, let's take a closer look on it. Light color makes it looks dull isn't it? Not to mentioned there's tones of hole eaten by insects and caused wooden powder drops everywhere. Inner layer wise consists of 4-5 ring circle around. No idea how many it needed to grow in such big tree size.
Gotten some main item such as thinner and wood stain golden color. And not to forget about brush for painting them too. Now let's get started.
Now then, a side by side color comparison. Left is after and Right is before. Which one do you prefer?
After 4 hours of painting, here's the final results. Why I took so long? Is because I double coated it after the first layer dried. Now we'll have to wait for dry in the next day.
Tbh is sad to see these trees getting cuts away just to made furniture. For me is not my type but older gen loves it so much. In rural area you can see almost all furniture is made from wood. Is sadly to see because it needs more than 5 years just to grow into adult trees.
That's for today guys, time to clean up the mess. Thank you for the support and see you around soon. Cheers.
