Hi guys,
This morning I was free and I wanted to make something easy, healthy and sweet for breakfast. It came down to a big bowl of oatmeal with a creamy strawberry coconut sauce on top.
I first made the oatmeal by putting 300 milliliters of soya milk in a pan and added about 100 grams of oats. I let this heat up on the gas and started making the strawberry sauce.
For the sauce, I put 20 strawberries in a blender together with 3 spoons of coconut milk. To make it a little sweeter I added to small spoons of sugar. You can also add strawberry jelly or leave the sugar. I blended this until it became a smooth sauce.
By this time my oatmeal was ready and I poured the sauce on top of the oatmeal. Because the sauce was pretty cold (I used frozen strawberries) my oatmeal cooled down pretty quick. This is good if you're in a hurry, but if you want your oatmeal to stay hot then first defrost your strawberries.
I hope you like this recipe and if you're going to try it, let me know what you think of it!
