Good Evening wonderful Hivers in the DIYHUB Community! How was the day for you? For me, it was rainy throughout and I was forced to stay at home. Well, I didn't just sit at home helpless doing nothing, I also got myself engaged in some things which included the creation of a Friendship Mystery Box for my Little cousin who I always makes me angry always. This is another Entry of mine to the September International Peace contest.

I would love to share with y'all how I constructed the mystery box and I will be doing that in a step by step manner.

Materials

The materials I used included: - Cartons gotten from the recycle bin - Top Gum - Scissors โœ‚๏ธ - Pieces of Cardboard paper - Present design Wraps - Butterfly Glass Stickers gotten from spoilt phone packs - Razor

Procedures

Step 1: I surveyed the Cartons I had and then, I had the part of the carton which I needed cut out.

Step 2: I took measurements and then had the sides that were over the estimated amount needed cut out of the main plan. I had to make sure all the measurements was in order.

Step 3: Then, I had to make the basement strong. In order to do that I had to add more thicker cartons using Gums to it to make it more rigid in the floor. After I did that it was strong on the floor and ready to be used.

Step 4: I went on to add the two remaining sides to the plan. I had to use Gum and another Piece of Carton to make the walls stronger and they were just so perfect.

Step 5: I coupled them up and it looked so well, and ready.

Step 6: Then, it was time to Prepare the cover of the box. It was not an easy one though but I had to do it in order for the Mystery box to really look like one. I used another set of Cartons to craft out the cover of the box.

I covered it with the cover and it was so nice.

Step 7: It was time to design the Mystery Box to really make it a Mystery. So I had the Present design Wraps and then I used them to craft out a design of a Dove ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ.

Step 8: I had the Dove design cut out of the wrap and ready to paste in the Mystery Box.

Step 9: I pasted the Dove ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Design in the Mystery applying Gum to it to make it stuck to the box.

Step 10: I also cut out other designs like triangle and heart Shape from the wrap and then pasted it there in the Mystery Box.

I also used the Butterfly Glass Stickers gotten from spoilt phone packs to stick to the mystery box alongside these designs as well.

Step 11: In the quest of adding more designs, I cut out the wraps into little particles and then I applied gum and spread them there to stick there as little particles and they made the design look great.

Step 12: The body of the box was ready but then the cover needed some little touches and then, I used the cardboard papers to write few words that my little Cousin can read. It says My Box and I used gum to apply on them to make them stuck to the cover of the box.

Finally

The Mystery Box was ready and I took images of it.

The Dove I added is a symbol of Friendship that exists between I and my Cousin and It fosters Peace between us.

I hope you too can recreate the Mystery Box with the tutorial too Thanks for stopping by...
