There's many ways one can participate in the game known as Splinterlands. To name a few of those ways: Battle it out in Ranked Play, hit the Tournament Scene, tend to LAND, collect cards, hit the rental market for some passive income, the list goes on. However there is an aspect that some who play this game overlook. What aspect might that be? In one simple word blogging. Of course this is no surprise to bloggers. All bloggers know one can earn with content creating. What is the catch here? This isn't big news or anything new, what is @rentmoney talking about? Here on the Hive Blockchain the Splinterlands team run weekly contests/ challenges for content creators. If one creates quality content and follows the rules within each respective contest/ challenge they can earn Votes on their Hive created content. Here on the Hive Blockchain receiving votes means earning Hive Tokens such as Hive Power and HBD (Hive Backed Dollars) and possibly others. Below we will go over the three on-going challenges Hive Content Creators can partake in. Please note all info is subject to change without notice. (1) SPL Community Engagement Challenge
The Splinterlands community is full of experts and seasoned players, and we want you to share your wisdom!
The SPL Community Engagement Challenge is a weekly challenge that has a different focus that content creators need to abide to each week. The challenge is designed to promote engagement and share knowledge about the SPL game. Some examples of past topic requirements include but are not limited to:

Do you have tips for climbing the ranks? Maybe you’ve found the best way to earn rewards or mastered the game’s economy. Now’s your chance to help fellow players by sharing your valuable insights.
() Underdog Victories!
Share a battle where you pulled off a win with lower mana or against a stacked lineup you thought you couldn’t beat.
() Battlefield Breakthroughs!
This week, we’re diving into Battlefield Breakthroughs — the epic moments when your strategy, timing, and deck choices all align to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Whether it’s a clever counter-pick, an underdog card carrying your team, or a last-second win, we want to hear about it!
(2) Splinterlands Art Contest
This is the weekly art contest for Splinterlands fanart and Splinterlands inspired original artwork. We love to see your creations that are inspired by the game and our amazing cards and characters. We have some awesome players and artists in our community and it's inspirational to see the influence of Splinterlands on all the content created for our contests.
We (Splinterlands) offer the potential for some great curation upvotes from the official Splinterlands account from our diligent curators as well as some wonderful prizes for the selected winners. You don't have to have cards or play the game to participate. You also don't have to be a professional artist to participate! We do try to honor the effort that everyone puts into giving this contest their best try.
The Splinterlands art contest is currently on week 361 and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. Share Your Most Remarkable Splinterlands Moments: Do you possess a battle of epic proportions that deserves to be seen by all? Have you crafted something extraordinary within the Splinterlands realm? Maybe you've got profound thoughts, insights, or strategies related to stats, cards, abilities, or gameplay that are waiting to be shared? We want it all, and we want it to be nothing short of AMAZING!

Last but not least on our list here today is the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Its our opinion that this challenge is one of the best marketing tools Splinterlands has. The Social Media Challenge requires you to create Splinterlands content on the Hive Blockchain and share it to social media sites. Such social media sites as X (Twitter), Reddit, Facebook, Medium or just about any other you can think of that will help spread the word about Splinterlands to the outside world. Its important to read the rules carefully before participating. Sometimes there will be specific topics that are wanted to be blogged about.
