Arrrghhh!
It's been a 'tough' summer in terms of income and expenditure....
My regular income is dropping in at around £300 under my regular expenditure.....
Although in reality it's feeling tougher ATM, especially this month as my big car expenses are due (insurance, MOT which told me I needed new tyres/ brakes, expected) but we're still looking at £1000 coming out of savings.
And I just had to pay my accountant £300 for my tax return fee, again expected, and all of this is planned and pre-earned if you like, my income dips in summer, paid out in Autumn, so it really dips in Autumn I guess!
Lower blog income...
This is the situation in summer..... mainly relying on the old salary, and I'm supplementing with the old crypto draw down, NB that's all stables cashed out during the (hopefully) mini-pump we had a while back, I could use that for quite some months or even years going forwards, would rather not but it's either that or get another job, and I don't really fancy that RN!
Expenditure...
Not too bad....
I think it's reasonably well balanced, mortgage, as ever, is top of the tree, mind you only 4 years left on that fucker, so faretheewell to that fairly soon!
I think I've been honest all around - note I don't really spend hard on any major hobbies or collections, it's just odds and sods here and there... coffee and cake being the weakness, but that's worth it IMO.
Final thoughts...
I'm currently trying to get the main blog back up and running with 2-3 days a week, and that pay back probably won't be until Spring next year, following that I may well look at getting another job, I can't sustain this level of gap for too long, well actually I could, but I'd much rather be going in the other direction.
Oh PS I missed pensions contributions from the above, ATM I'm happy for that to come out of my cash savings as cash is too much, stocks too little, so that's just a monthly rebalance....
My change doesn't jiggle jiggle, it doesn't really fold either as it's not physical cash, I'm not really sure what sound it makes, maybe the gentle hum of a server, anyways, that's me and money for Autumn 2025!
