Today is officially Ekitag Day for me 😆!
I’ve just started collecting Ekitags, which are the special JR train station stamps (駅スタンプ) you can find at stations all over Japan. Each station has a unique design featuring local landmarks or culture, and travelers collect them like little souvenirs along their journeys. Thanks to @itz.inno and @wittyzell for influencing me to start this fun hobby.
I’m heading to Hirama to visit a friend for a cooking session, tea party, and some catching up aka gossiping LOL 😁. Hirama itself is a JR station with an Ekitag, and since there are other walkable stations nearby with Ekitags too, I’m on a mission to collect as many as I can while I’m in the area.
Catching this beautiful sunset from my friend’s balcony in Hirama 😍
All in all, I collected 5 Ekitags today. Quite a productive day, huh? 😆
Hirama Station
Musashi Kosugi Station
Shin-Kawasaki Station
Kashimada Station
Yako Station
This is what an Ekitag looks like at the stations.
You just need to scan them with the Ekitag app.
Now I’m more determined to collect more Ekitags. This hobby is quite addicting, eh? 😜
