This past weekend, during a night walk, I took the chance to capture a few photographs once darkness had settled in, making the most out of every subtle glow of artificial light around me. On 23rd Street, they were projecting a Cuban film from decades ago. They close off a block, set out chairs, and on a huge screen showcase audiovisual works, mostly Cuban. The atmosphere is wholesome, vibrant, and full of life.
It was the perfect opportunity not only to photograph the screening but also to wander nearby streets before the night took over completely. I hope you enjoy this small visual glimpse of that evening.

Este fin de semana, durante un paseo nocturno, aproveché para hacer algunas fotos ya caída la noche, usando cada pequeño destello de luz artificial a mi favor. En la calle 23 estaban proyectando una película cubana de hace algunas décadas. Cierran una cuadra, sacan sillas y en una pantalla enorme proyectan materiales audiovisuales, principalmente cubanos. El ambiente es sano, vibrante y lleno de vida.
Fue la ocasión perfecta no solo para fotografiar la proyección, sino también para recorrer algunas calles cercanas antes de que la noche se adueñara por completo. Espero disfruten este pequeño vistazo visual de esa velada.
