In the last 5 months, we have been going to Cebu together with my friends, and we planned to visit the Il Corso Lifemalls, which are located at the Central Piazza of Il Corso, facing the scenic South Road Properties (SRP). Il Corso Lifemalls in Cebu is home to The Stellar—the city’s first dancing music fountain. This captivating show combines water, light, and music to create a mesmerizing experience. It was just a one-day trip but a memorable one.
We traveled from Bogo City to Cebu at 2 PM and got there around 6 PM. When we were heading to Il Corso, I could see how pretty the place was because of the big, lighted 3D sign. When we arrived, we went straight to the fountain show because that’s why we came—to watch the water dance with lights and music. It was so cool and fun, and that time I was so happy and excited! And for the details of the Fountain Show, it happens on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM. Each show lasts about 10 to 15 minutes, so you can really enjoy it and see all the water dance.
If you want to really have fun at the fountain show in Il Corso Lifemalls, it’s better to go early. The first show starts at 6:00 PM, so if you go before that, you can walk around, look at everything, and take lots of pictures. You can also find a perfect spot to watch the fountain without people in the way. When the music starts and the water goes up and the lights blink, it feels like the fountain is dancing just for you! It’s literally fun, and you can watch everything without rushing.
The fountain is really cool because it has big water jets that shoot high and lots of colorful lights that change with the music. They play happy songs and even local Cebu songs like “I Love Cebu.” It’s a perfect place to bring your family, friends, or even go on a date to watch the show together.
The best part is, you don’t have to pay anything because it is totally FREE for everyone! You can take lots of photos and videos too, so you can remember the show forever.
And believe it or not, it was my first time to see a fountain that is so colorful and has music too! It was gorgeous and fun. I liked it a lot because there were benches to sit on while watching, so I could relax and enjoy the show.
And that time I felt so calm and happy, like my mind was at peace. I even felt joyful because I was there with my friends, watching and having fun together. It was really special and magical, and I didn’t want it to end!
After seeing the fountain, we walked around and looked at all the food places. I didn’t take a lot of pictures because I was talking and laughing with my friends, and we were literally just enjoying the moment. We didn’t even use our phones much, and it felt so nice to just be there together.
There were lots of restaurants to choose from, and the food was budget-friendly, which is perfect! They had chicken inasal and many other yummy dishes.
So if you are looking for a place to relax and have fun, I think Il Corso is perfect! You can go with someone special or with friends, and it’s really nice to enjoy it together. But it’s also okay to go alone if you want some quiet time. I’m just giving you some suggestions because maybe you can find some peace there after a long and tiring day.
