Hello friends, today I want to share something I did while on vacation while preserving and cleaning my family home. This morning I decided to get out the pressure washer and wash the walls of my house. I'd been thinking about it for a long time, but I kept putting it off, since it's a difficult job. Over the years, dirt accumulates and the walls begin to lose their original color. I decided to take advantage of the day and get to work, and the walls really needed it, as well as the stones on the wall where the water runs down from the top of the house.
I bought a pressure washer a few years ago, and it's really useful because the force of the water can remove even the most stubborn dirt. Just go slowly and see the difference immediately. It's funny because it feels like you're repainting the wall, and after it dries, the wall looks much whiter, but in reality, you're just removing the layer of dust and verdigris that has accumulated over time. It's one of those jobs that's tiring, but also enjoyable, because the results are instantly visible, and now it's a pleasure to see the walls of my house looking different.

Olá amigos hoje quero partilhar algo que fiz nas férias aqui na preservação e limpeza da minha casa de família. Hoje de manhã resolvi pegar na máquina de pressão e lavar as paredes da minha casa. Já andava a pensar nisto há muito tempo, mas ia sempre adiando, já que é um serviço difícil. Com o passar dos anos a sujidade vai-se acumulando e a parede começa a perder a cor original. Decidi aproveitar o dia e meter mãos à obra, e bem que as paredes estavam a precisar e também as pedras da parede onde escorre a água que vem do topo da casa.
Eu a uns anos comprei uma máquina de pressão e é mesmo útil porque a força da água consegue tirar a sujidade mais agarrada. Basta passar devagar e ver logo a diferença. É engraçado porque parece que estamos a pintar a parede de novo e depois de ficar seca a parede fica muito mais branca, mas na verdade estamos apenas a tirar a camada de pó e verdete que ficou com o tempo. É daqueles trabalhos que cansam, mas ao mesmo tempo dão gosto, porque o resultado aparece de imediato e agora dá gosto ver as paredes da minha casa com outra aparência.

In the end, I was tired, but very satisfied because this work gave me a good feeling when I saw the final result. Now the house immediately looks more cared for and tidy. It's always worth dedicating a little time to these small tasks, which help preserve our home.
