**The reason is simple: while I'm not the biggest fan of its structure and feel that the Gran Turismo cafe idea could have been better implemented, the gameplay and graphics of this game are simply masterful, and it's one of the most immersive simcade experiences on the market, especially if you have a wheel like the Logitech G29, which, by the way, is quite immersive and is made with very high-quality materials.**
A challenge I set myself from the beginning was to try to eliminate all the default assists that the game includes: the racing line, assisted brakes, ABS, and steering control.
Of course, this wasn't something I did from the beginning, and I've been progressively eliminating all these aids. This makes each race more complicated, but at the same time allows me to have greater control over each vehicle I use, considerably improving my lap times.
Finally, after a couple of hours of practice, I finally finished my first races without any assistance, something I achieved with a 1990s Nissan Silvia with a few modifications.
Likewise, I decided to acquire one of my favorite vehicles: a Toyota Celica, which I practiced with a couple of laps on a circuit.
**In my experience with these games, Japanese vehicles are a good starting point for honing our driving skills. They are compact and, despite their high-speed performance, are relatively easy to master.**
