After the updates that changed the items in Gwen's Glint Shop, altered the Jackpot probabilities, and added cards in the new Conclave Arcana Rewards collection, it's time for the Splinterlands community to conduct some "tests." In theory, the chances of getting a Jackpot with Ultimate Chests should have increased considerably, but does this hold true in practice?
Furthermore, another point is that as more Loot Chests are opened, players encounter new cards from the Conclave Arcana Rewards collection and learn more about them, which is what happened when opening some major chests. So, if you're interested in learning more about this 10% Jackpot strategy and more details about the new cards, come check it all out now!

[ENGLISH VERSION]
## Ultimate Chest x Jackpot (10%)

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)
In this latest update to Gwen's Glint Shop, the drop rates for Loot Chests have been changed, with one of the biggest changes being the probability of finding a Jackpot when opening the chests. So, in the Minor Chest there's now a 0.01% chance costing 500 glints, in the Major Chest there's a 0.1% chance costing 2500 glints, and in the Ultimate Chest there's a 1% chance of getting lucky and getting a JACKPOT!

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)
Thus, it becomes evident that in a strategy whose objective is to find a Jackpot - Titles, Lands, Packs, Special Cards… - the best option should be to choose the Ultimate Chest. If you're still unsure, just consider that if you have 10,000 Glint tokens, you might have a 1% chance with 1 Ultimate Chest, but if you choose 4x Major Chests you only have a 0.4% chance, and in the case of Minor Chests, which would be 20x, the chances would be 0.2%. Therefore, the cost-benefit ratio of Glint per Jackpot will be better, "theoretically," when obtaining Ultimate Chests.

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)
However, this may not be, and perhaps really isn't, the best strategy considering the overall cost-benefit of glint for cards and other resources that come in Loot Chests. An example of how theory differs in practice is that when trying this 10% chance of Jackpot strategy, we cannot forget that there is the other side, which is the 90% chance of not finding anything. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened.

In opening the 10x Ultimate Chests, we got 9 energies, over 3000 Mertis, two common cards that I had already obtained in other openings, which are Grim Bonewhip and Coralforged, some legendary pots, a rare card called Gravebrand Warlock that I already had, and a new card which is Anchor-Hex Adept. This earth element unit, with 7 mana, luckily came in 5 copies, allowing me to evolve it to level 2. At this next level, Anchor-Hex possesses the divine shield ability which, along with its kit of 5 HP and 3 armor, will allow it to survive for quite some time. In addition, it has good magic damage (2) and reasonable speed.

## Major Chest x New Cards

Since the Ultimate Chests didn't come as expected, I tried my luck with 9x Major Chests and they ended up being almost the same quality, although much less glint was used. Interestingly, I got some new cards that I didn't have yet, like Thornmaw Berserker and Surgeblade. In addition to these new cards, I also received 4 energy, 5 entries, another copy of Swapwrought, and 448 merits.

But what was really interesting was the new card called Ironwing Juggernaut, another card with the Weary ability/debuff, but with great stats for a low mana cost of only 3. This card has 2 melee damage and 3 in the other stats: HP, Shield, and speed. The best part will be when she reaches level 3, when she'll receive the Charge ability and be able to attack from any position.

## Ultimate Chest x Jackpot (10%)

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)

## Major Chest x Novas Cartas

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)

[Source: Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rimurutempest)
