My Dream And Success

Everyone carries a dream in their heart, and one of mine is to start a phone charging business. In my village, electricity is more of a myth than a reality. Power supply is irregular and unreliable, so people often struggle to keep their phones and gadgets alive. That is why my dream is not just about earning; it is about meeting a real and urgent need in my community.

I imagine setting up a small station powered by a generator or solar energy, with enough chargers and extension boxes, where people can safely and reliably charge their phones. I will give them what our electricity system has failed to provide—consistency and trust.

But my dream doesn’t stop at phone charging. I plan to get a large deep freezer for iceblock production, so I can supply ice to those who sell sachet water and drinks.

Since they may not have electricity to keep them chilled, my iceblocks will support their business and help them serve the community better. Subsequently, I hope to move on to building a cool room for traders in the market, where they can store up their perishable goods. This part of the dream will require a larger capital, but in my view, it is worth every sacrifice. It will not only boost trade but also reduce waste and losses for hardworking sellers.

To me, success in this business will not only be about the money I make. Success will begin the very day I buy my first charger, set up my first stand, and serve my first customer. It will also mean being reliable, consistent, and growing little by little—maybe one day expanding to sell accessories or even larger energy solutions. And beyond profit, true success will be the fulfillment I feel knowing I turned a dream into something useful, especially in a place where electricity has failed us.

Yet, I still ask myself: At what point can one say, “Let me rest and enjoy my days without stressing?” For me, that point will come when my basic needs are secured, when I have built something steady that can support me, and when I have learned the art of contentment. Rest will not only mean stopping work completely but also reaching a stage where I can delegate, slow down, and spend more time on peace, family, and faith.

This is how I see my dream: starting small, serving my village faithfully, growing with patience, and one day enjoying the fruits of hard work without anxiety. It may begin with phone charging, but it carries in it the seed of independence, service, and fulfillment.
