Hello to all football and soccer fans. I was watching the game between Chelsea and Nottingham so I had an idea on to write why I think Chelsea will beat Real Betis in tomorrow's final of the conference league. So let's go.
Here are several factors suggest Chelsea are ready for a win:
-
European experience: Chelsea has a rich history in European competitions, having won the Champions League twice (2012, 2021) and the Europa League twice (2013, 2019). I've been saying this for years, final is such a different game and the more experienced (especially in Champions League) almost every time wins. And even the fact that Chelsea team is different than in 2021, the spirit is still there. This experience in high-stakes matches gives them an edge over Betis, who are appearing in their first European final.
-
Momentum and confidence: Under manager Enzo Maresca, Chelsea has found form at the right time, securing 2 consecutive wins in the most important part of the season. Beating Manchester United (home) and Nottingham (away) was the most important to qualify for the upcoming Champions League season. And they did it!
-
Relaxed yet focused: Again, having already secured Champions League qualification for next season, Chelsea enters the final without the pressure of needing a win for European competition. They don't need to win it to qualify anywhere (well, Betis as well, but...). This allows them to play with freedom and focus solely on clinching the title. They will be hungry for success without extra pressure.
-
MOTM tip: Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has been important in Chelsea's season, scoring several goals and doing the hard work for his teammates by opening spaces and attacking oponents. He didn't play last 2 games of PL because of a red card vs. Newcastle. He will be very hungry to show Maresca, that he can be the striker no 1 next season, despite new signings. He could be a decisive factor in the final while scoring a goal or two.

While Real Betis has shown resilience and quality including reborn of Anthony, Chelsea's combination of experience in these kind of matches, form, and motivation positions them as strong favourites to lift the trophy. So what do you think, who will win the UEFA Conference League final?
