My first Solana Mobile Seeker phones arrived today. After shipping started on August 4, I had to wait about three weeks before I could finally hold my physical devices in my hands.
Of course, I had to unbox and install one right away, but more on that later.

heute sind meine ersten Solana Mobile Seeker Phones angekommen. Nachdem der Versand am 04.08. gestartet ist, musste ich nun ungefähr 3 Wochen warten bis ich endlich meine physischen Geräte in der Hand halten konnte.
Natürlich musste ich eins direkt unboxen und installieren, dazu aber später mehr.
The Shipping Madness
Solana Mobile had already launched its first phone, the Solana SAGA, in the past—at that time, shipping was still quite relaxed with around 25,000 devices.
The new Seeker Phone, on the other hand, has already been ordered 150,000 times, and shipping such a large number of devices naturally requires good coordination.
The first Seekers have now been shipped from various distribution centers around the world. Europe, for example, was supplied from Lithuania. Many are still waiting for their devices, of course, but many have already generated their Unique Wallet ID and connected it to their device. Their cold wallet is now ready for use.
Solana Mobile hatte ja früher schon ihr erstes Phone auf den Markt gebracht, das Solana SAGA - da war der Versand noch ganz entspannt mit rund 25.000 Geräten.
Das neue Seeker Phone dagegen wurde bereits 150.000x bestellt und der Versand für solch eine Große Anzahl muss natürlich gut koordiniert werden.
Aus verschiedenen Verteilzentren auf der Welt wurden nun die ersten Seeker versendet. Europa wurde z.B von Litauen aus beliefert. Viele warten natürlich noch auf ihre Geräte, viele haben sich aber bereits ihre Unique Wallet ID generiert und diese mit ihrem Gerät verbunden. Ihre Cold-Wallet ist somit einsatzbereit.
Ofcourse i ordered a couple more Devices since im loving the DePIN functions in general. The first two are splitted between me and @louis88 while my third will probably goes to @lordbutterfly and/or @vaultec to have a bridge between @vsc.network (https://vsc.eco/) and the Solana Seeker ID aka the own dAppStore.
As you can easily see, I am extremely happy to have finally received the device, firstly to test it and secondly to use it as my everyday smartphone.
Since the normal Google Store is installed, any app can be conveniently installed.
However, the dAppStore from the in-house Solana Mobile Team is still the core of the device and offers all the apps you need across Solana.
Wie ihr unschwer erkennen könnt, freue ich mich tierisch dass ich das Gerät endlich erhalten habe um es erstens zu testen und zweitens als mein tägliches Smartphone zu verwenden.
Da der normale Google-Store installiert ist, kann bequem jede beliebige App installiert werden.
Der dAppStore vom hauseigenen Solana Mobile Team ist dennoch das Kernstück des Geräts und bietet solana-weit alle möglichen Apps die man braucht.
Unboxing
In addition to the Seeker Phone itself, the package includes a USB-C <> USB-C cable that does not include a plug for the power outlet. It also includes the pin for the SIM card and a quick start guide, which is generally thrown away :)
There are also various seed phrase cards for noting down the generated seed phrases. You can, or rather should, write down the 24 words and keep them in a safe place. If your device is ever lost, you can still access your money using the backup.
Neben dem Seeker Phone selbst beinhaltet das Paket ein USB-C <> USB-C Kabel welches kein Stecker beinhaltet für die Steckdose. Ebenfalls ist der Pin für die SIM-Karte dabei und eine Kurzanleitung die aber generell erstmal in den Müll geworfen wird :)
Dabei sind noch diverse Seed-Phrase Karten zum notieren der generierten SeedPhrases. 24 Wörter könnt, bzw. solltet ihr euch auf jedenfall aufschreiben und gut weglegen. Falls euer Gerät mal abhanden kommt, könnt ihr somit noch an die Geldwerte kommen durch das Backup.

Expectations
As we can see from the brief list above, a number of new apps will be added to the dAppStore this coming September. Since I will be using the Seeker as my everyday phone, I will also try to follow the dePIN projects. It remains to be seen exactly how the SKR token will be distributed and how much activity you need to maintain in the apps each day to receive an adequate airdrop or reward.
Solana Mobile is generally one of the larger projects on Solana and has an enormous reach. I am excited about this and am also following the tweets and updates about the SeekerPhone.
Since the setup was very easy, I believe that the use of dApps from the store is also geared towards being fast, high-performance, and powerful.
So all eyes are on Seeker September, when there will be news after the majority of users have their Seeker in their hands.

wir in der kurzen Auflistung oben wird im kommenden September einiges an neuen Apps dem dAppStore hinzugefügt. Da ich das Seeker als tägliches Phone verwenden werde, versuche ich auch die dePIN Projekte zu verfolgen. Wie genau der SKR Token verteilt wird und wieviel Aktivität man am Tag in Apps halten muss um einen adäquaten Airdrop bzw. Reward zu erhalten wird sich demnach zeigen.
Solana Mobile ist generell eines der größeren Projekte auf Solana und hat eine enorme Reichweite. Hier bin ich gespannt und verfolge auch die Tweets und Updates rund um das SeekerPhone.
Da die Einrichtung sehr einfach verlief glaube ich schon, dass die Nutzung der dApps aus dem Store ebenfalls darauf ausgerichtet sind, schnell, perfomance und Leistungsstark zu werden.
Alle Augen sind also auf dem Seeker-September gerichtet wo es dann Neuigkeiten geben wird, nachdem der Großteil ihr Seeker in den Händen hält.
