We do joke with people overseas that all Aussies have kangaroos in their garden. But in this case, it's true. This week we woke up to three kangaroos in our front yard.

One was even called Kylie. She had a collar around her neck and tags on her ears.

We live a very short walk from a golf course where tourists come to see the many kangaroos that abound there. They even have guided tours. We know plenty of more wild places to see kangaroos but it's pretty cool for tourists.

Two of the kangaroos had joeys. Aren't they just gorgeous? I don't think I'm ever gone to get sick of these lovely creatures just outside my loungeroom.

To think we put out a bird bath for birds - I think it might become a kangaroo 🦘 drinking bath as well! The little guy was a juvenile.

I adore their lovely fluffy ears.

I think they've been wandering the streets because it's been so dry and there's not enough food for them.

Sadly they often get hit by cars driving too fast. It's so frustrating. If people slowed down and kept an eye out!!! Worst, people don't check the pouches for joeys. Gutted. There is a local wildlife guy who we can call and he comes out and rescues them.
