It is part of our obligations as christians to look into the welfare of our brethren, we have to become passionate, wholeheartedly about it according to 1 John 3:17;

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother hath need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

That is to say that we have obligation towards people who we don't owe anything but we owe our lives to God. God gives us this obligation because He wants to use our hands to reach out to the poor and those in need. We will be 'Hands of God ', used to serve them necessities whenever they need it.

In the church of the Bible, no one will die of hunger because it is our collective obligation to cater to the needs of the poor and needy, to financially and spirituality support every brother in the faith and to look into the welfare of the brethren.

Bro. Eli Soriano makes us to understand our place in the scheme of things, as the hands of God, that's why they have orphanages. It is part of the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 37:21 says;

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: But the righteous showeth mercy and giveth.

When we owe, we have the obligation to pay back, we must not owe anything to anyone. Romans 13:7 says;

Render therefore to all their dues: Tribute to whom tribute is due: Custom to whom custom: Fear to whom fear: Honour to whom honour.

It is christian doctrine to owe no man anything but to render dues to the appropriate quarters. You are wicked to borrow and not pay.

The final analysis is in Romans 13:8;

Owe no man anything, but to love one another: For he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
