The Bible teaches that the dead will rise again but not by recycling into another body. God speaks of resurrection, where the same person is raised, transformed, and given an eternal body according to 1 Corinthians 15:52
“For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”
This is not reincarnation but resurrection.
If reincarnation were true, people would keep coming back until they “get it right.” That sounds appealing, but it destroys the meaning of sin, salvation, and judgment.
The Bible says:
“Each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” — Romans 14:12
That’s a one-time accountability, not endless retries.
Some say: “If souls were recycled, man would eventually become a better person with each life.” But history shows the opposite. Evil, corruption, greed, and violence continue through generations. Humanity isn’t improving through rebirth — we need redemption, not recycling.
If reincarnation worked, the world would be filled with better people today. So no number of lives could fix this — only Christ’s sacrifice can give man a new heart.
In John 11:25 says that;
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.’” — John 11:25
That means you don’t need to come back again and again. Through Jesus, you are transformed once and for all, given eternal life with Him.
