The Bible is our greatest teacher and it teaches us that there are two ways in life; the right path that leads to life, and the wrong path that leads to destruction. The “right path” is walking in the way of God’s commandments, righteousness, and truth through Jesus Christ.
Psalm 119:33;
Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
God’s statutes, laws, and commandments form the path of righteousness. It is not man’s ideas or traditions but God’s word that lights the way.
Psalm 119:105;
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
The right path is only found in Christ Jesus.
John 14:6;
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
There's another way that is not the way but can only lead to destruction.
Matthew 7:13–14;
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction... Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
The right path according to the Bible is the path of obedience to God’s commandments, faith in Jesus Christ, and walking in the Spirit. It is a narrow way that leads to life, illuminated by God’s word, and walked by those who are just and faithful until the end.
Proverbs 4:18;
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
