In this post I will share my experience when visiting a tourist destination in the city of Takengon, this tourist spot is called "Ujung Paking". Before coming to this place I had already expected this place to be very amazing, especially in terms of its natural beauty, not only that, inside this tourist spot is also filled with several types of colorful plants and flowers, the longer we are in this place will make us feel as if we are in a fairy tale land, but when I arrived at this place I was immediately surprised because now this place has been abandoned, it sounds quite strange for a very beautiful tourist spot to be abandoned like this.
This is the gate to enter this tourist spot, this gate used to look so beautiful because it was filled with colorful paint, but now its appearance has changed, this gate looks like it only has a blue color, and the ticket purchase place is also empty, previously one ticket price was priced at IDR 20,000 in Indonesian currency or equivalent to 9.7 current Hive prices, but now every visitor can enter this tourist spot for free.
From its appearance alone, we can conclude that this is a very interesting tourist spot,the floor is also paved with paving blocks, and the atmosphere is very calming because it is filled with green plants and colorful flowers.But look at it now, this place looks a bit dirty and grass has grown everywhere, there are even some grasses that almost cover the monuments in the middle of the road, the ornamental areca nut trees planted in a row also look so amazing if we see them from the right angle.This is still a question mark for me until now, why can a place as beautiful as this be neglected.?
I myself don't know what this building is, but from what I see it looks like an abandoned cafe building, if you look closely this building looks very big and luxurious and also has two floors, but now this building is abandoned and many areas are damaged, many of the windows are broken and the floor is cracked.
At that time I felt a little scared and hesitant to enter this building, especially since I didn't see anyone around this place, but we can also find amazing things in this place, for example like some of the photos below.
This is the view from the front yard of this building, look at it, doesn't it look absolutely stunning.? There are lots of green plants and colorful flowers, and what makes it even more interesting is that this place is also located directly at the foot of the mountains so from this area we can also see the view of the high mountains behind it.
Here we can also find three unique monuments that look like blooming flowers, these monuments are also right in front of this building and I am sure that these monuments are also a beautiful sight in this place, if this building is still good and functioning, maybe I would like to go up to the 2nd floor so I can enjoy this view more widely and more clearly.
These are all views from the front of this building,and now let's look at the views that can be seen from the rear area of this building.
It turns out that from the rear area of this building we can see the view of the tawar sea with a very wide view, maybe because this building is on high ground so we can see the view more easily. In my opinion, this building is in a very strategic place where in the front area we can see the view of the mountains and in the rear area we can see the view of the ocean, it is truly a very beautiful combination, so there is no reason whatsoever because in one place we can see and enjoy two different types of natural appearance.
