In this post I will share my experience while exploring an island with a densely populated settlement, namely Pusong Island, according to the information I got from several local residents who said that Pusong Island has an area of about 4 hectares and has a population of more than 2000 people, that is the reason why this Pusung Island is categorized as a densely populated settlement. This time I will share my experience while exploring every corner of this island with various interesting and unique discoveries, on this island I managed to find various public facilities such as village offices, schools, mosque buildings, to several other public facilities, the housing on this island also looks very interesting which looks like it was built floating on the surface of the water, that is the reason why many tourists want to visit this island, of course because they are curious
The size of the roads in this village is very small, not even a single car can fit, and on this island there are no cars except electric bicycles, besides the narrow roads, the housing in this village is also very dense and built close to other houses, that is one of the things that makes the village here very different from other villages.
In this village we almost don't find any land when the sea water is high tide, and the view of floating houses is a very common thing in this village, in fact we can see this view from any side, when the water is high tide there are lots of small children swimming around the area of their houses, it sounds quite unique but that's the reality
My goal at the time was to explore the entire island i didn't know if I would succeed or not, but I definitely tried,from a distance, I saw a white building,it looked different from the other buildings around it because it was built of concrete.
As I got closer, I realized this was the village office. The building was made of concrete and painted white, and looked very different from the surrounding wooden houses. Not far from the village office area, I also found a mosque.
The mosque area was built directly above ground level, and this confused me a bit at the time, perhaps before the mosque was built, this area had been filled with soil first, perhaps. The mosque building also looks very beautiful with its unique architecture, and is painted green which makes the view of this mosque very suitable with the surrounding environment.
And this is the appearance of the school building in this village, I managed to find two schools, one elementary school and one junior high school, but I don't know whether there is a high school here or not. There is something interesting behind the school in this village, namely the teachers who teach at this school mostly come from the city of Langsa, so to get to this school they have to take a boat first with a travel time of about 15 minutes, this is a struggle, sincerity and sacrifice, of course this is for the sake of the education of the children in this village
After being satisfied exploring the central part of the village, I finally decided to explore the edge of the village (beachside). From this side, I could see the view of the houses in this village clearly,at first glance, their shape looks the same, the difference is the size and color of the paint.
The view from the fishing boats also looks very amazing, starting from the shape, size, to the color. I am not sure whether the residents of this village have a special parking area for their boats or not, or they can park their boats wherever they want considering that this village is on a small island surrounded by the open sea.
I was really amazed by this village, and this was also my first time visiting it. Actually, there are many other amazing things to discover in this village, but at that time I only had about eight hours, so I didn't have enough time for that.
