In this post I will share my experience while traveling to the city of Takengon, I don't know how many times I have visited this city but every trip I have made always has a different impression and an extraordinary experience, the city of Takengon which is located in a highland area is also often referred to as a land above the clouds which offers amazing natural views ranging from mountain views to tawar oceans.
From the city center we only need to travel about 5 minutes to arrive at the tawar sea area, depending on our choice but traveling around tawar sea is always the right choice, besides being able to see the beautiful scenery on the road,we can also meet many new people so that it adds to the experience in every trip.
Mountains are a view that can be enjoyed almost anywhere, and this is the reason why I say that Takengon city is a very suitable tourist destination choice for all types of visitors, this is a paradise for nature lovers because almost 80% of everything here is about nature.
The sunny weather is an opportunity for me to continue this journey because the sunny weather is the right time for me to be able to see and enjoy the natural views offered by this city, because even a little rain will cause thick fog to descend and block my view,so it is highly recommended to visit the city of Takengon only during the dry season (if you want to enjoy the natural scenery that this city has to offer)
From a hilly road area, I was able to see a view of two different areas, namely the border between land and sea,not only that, in this view, we can also see the dense housing that is close to the sea area. The green nature also managed to provide a very refreshing atmosphere, so this is a view that can not only be seen but also enjoyed.
Not far from this area, I also managed to find a tourist destination that can also be visited by anyone,from the main area, we were greeted by many colorful plants and flowers on both sides of the road,from the main appearance alone, it made me curious about this place,there was no other choice but to enter it immediately.
There are not many facilities or artificial beauty that this place has, but that is not a reason not to visit it, because this place offers a natural panorama that looks very amazing, from the top of the hill we can see the view of the mountains and the ocean at the same time.
The blue color blends with the green color, of course this is the color of life, actually this beautiful view can also be enjoyed directly from the roadside, but to be more satisfied, I still decided to enter the tourist area adjacent to the area so that the view that I can see is wider and clearer.
If I'm not mistaken, there used to be a tourist spot in the middle of the valley, but now the tourist area has been abandoned and only the foundations and frames of damaged huts remain. Actually, I really wanted to go to that place, but I immediately canceled that intention when I saw the road leading down the valley which was very damaged,rather than taking the risk, I decided to enjoy this view from the top of the hill.
